@Colonel_Mustache
It’ll happen at 7pm mountain time, mark my words.

@Anti-Matter
It’s a game where you place little disks inside a tray, trying to get four in a row. First person to do it wins.

@Eagly It's not, look at the lore of Super Smash Bros. (Theoretically, that opens new massive holes but...)

@TeaCatherine you're welcome, meow!
As for those games:

  • I love Hollow Knight's graphics, music and slick controls. It's a gem.
  • No more heroes disappointed me horribly, but it might be a matter of subjective taste, I have some games that nobody else likes and games that I hate despite everyone loving them
  • Nier is great but be prepared for a bit of repetition (I won't spoil nothing tho, meow)

@ComfyAko Wait, you've played all the things I mentioned? Eh, as long as I've payed for something, I'm darn well going to enjoy it (or die trying).

@Eagly I know which technically makes things super weird if you think about it.
Also, still no.

@Sunsy
Well, at least you might like Fantasy Life i for Nintendo Switch from Level-5 if you like some cute looking RPG game with ACNH terraforming feature.
You can like Sonic, MLP and Troll franchises so I think you can like Fantasy Life franchise too.

From Nintendo Direct last time with some Level-5 games announcement, Deca Police was another game by them that made me intrigued and also worried at the same time.
Intrigued as I like the police department theme like NYPD or CSI but worried at the same time to think what age rating will be. From the second trailer I watched, there was a murder case but no blood around the dead body and I hope there will be no blood at all. The other element I worried about was language (probably some moderate coarse language like cursing) since dealing with criminals it might have some bad words. I don't want to ban games I already have some interest to know just because it said one coarse word that I cannot tolerate at all.

So with those elements from police department theme, I really hope Deca Police will get age rating ESRB Teen / CERO B / PEGI 12 because I don't want to play games with higher age rating and it will break my heart to see the games I already get intrigued I have to forget them due to more mature stuffs founded.

Btw, if you checked my post on previous page 3895, you will see some big surprise there.
I got Zelda Wind Waker HD Wii U this evening. 😁
Never ever in my life I suddenly want to play that Zelda game due to one big chance from my local online shopping website.
There was a seller who displayed Zelda Wind Waker Wii U for sale.
Actually I have no intention to buy that game as I have zero interest with Zelda games but strangely it grew a little interest when I found that game was only one left and to realize every Zelda games on Ebay got inflated prices by scalpers, here in my country I could found one game with not so expensive price (it was still expensive for an used game, I bought the game with price 1,050,000 IDR or around $ 67.73).
So, ultimately I gave a second chance for Wind Waker Wii U as from graphic aspect, the Chibi cartoonish design somehow started to grow my interest a little bit. Still not a fan of green tunic outfits for Toon Link as I prefer the hat removed. Not gonna lie, Link with default blue tunic outfits, no tunic hat and longer hair from botw was my ideal looking but alas I don't clicked with botw.

It was very very unusual for me to realize I could getting along with Zelda Wind Waker after I keep my statement to never like any Zelda games. Peoples might change their mind anytime and I gave second chance for certain Zelda games with at least Toon Link on it so I will probably pick Triforce on 3DS and Link's Awakening on Switch as I prefer cute looking characters than normal size Link.
I still have zero interest with other Zelda games which featuring realistic size characters.
If I can change my mind to like other franchise that I never have interest before, so I think you can like some upcoming games by Level-5, even they are not Yokai Watch games.
You can expand your interest with new franchises so you will not stuck by Sonic, MLP, Trolls, Mario franchises only.

@Eagly I see this one, I just couldn’t see the other ones, I hope it gets fixed soon. Also, you enjoy game theory don’t ya?

@Eagly Because fiction only works if you suspend your disbelief somewhat. (This probably doesn't make any sense.)
Hey, shipping isn't always bad.

@Eagly sure thing! I love his video too! Wile they can be really out there, the thought he puts into all of it is fun I think.

I have a theory related to our universum

Something happened in 2010 that severely lowered our ability to think in a creative manner, and to appreciate creativity. Something like in Yesterday (the movie about the Beatles without the Beatles).

Almost every best game and anime came out before the end of 2009 after which the quality of work declined dramatically. Nowadays it's all isekai in a random rpg world for anime, and open world follow the marker copy paste game. There are some notorious exceptions like Xeno 2 and Laid Back Camp, but overally, the popculture went downhill in a manner that I cannot properly explain. Sure, anime and games are now mainstream which means quality goes down to meet the needs of a normie, but that doesn't explain this epic faceplant we are now seeing

I am not crazy

@Eagly I mean shipping is bad if it's done in a certain way but most of the time it's fine. I still haven't watched that video, but I think all this craziness is infecting me.
You know how I'm replaying Torna? Well, I found a flautist and immediately thought "ooh, theory time" (sort of joking, I more meant "ooh, I can make a joke about XC3.)
@ComfyAko I do think you're being a bit overkill here, some good things have come out recently, I'm just not the person to ask.

The imminent site crash.

I should probably learn to quote things a page or two back.

@TeaCatherine Please don't tell me I'm going boomer, I can't I just caaaant!

But not gonna lie, it would be so nice to come back, even if for a one day, to when everything was new and fresh, and when I would discover a nice manga shop in a backalley past a gate of an old town's townhouse. I got 1st tome of Wolf's Rain there, after seeing the series and actually thinking it was good, which eventually led me to watching Spice and Wolf

The first 2 hours gameplay of Zelda Wind Waker Wii U I spent by became a lawn mower, lol. 🤭

TeaCatherine

@ComfyAko I don't know, I don't know what age boomers are and I don't know what age you are, then again it's probably more of a mindset anyway.
What's Wolf's Rain about? I've heard my sister mention it before. Also, what's Spice and Wolf?

@Anti-Matter Always a good idea, then again I'd say the Legend of Zelda series was one of the series where you least need money. (Also, XC3 but not the other two.)
By the way, why do you always say "stuffs" instead of "stuff"? "Things" would also be grammatically correct, telling you this in case you want to improve your English a little bit, sorry if I sound patronising.

@TeaCatherine I'm not even close to being close to being a boomer by age, but as you said, it's more like this pesky "the world was better 40 years ago" mentality. I'm becoming stuck in a past sometimes

Wolf's Rain is about 4 wolves trying to escort a plant like lifeform to paradise, and it's kinda like an emotional, pseudo psychological journey

Spice and Wolf is a classic, comparable to Love Hina or Tokyo Mew Mew. It's about a wolf goddess who meets the world's most average trader guy and they start travelling together to the north, where her friends would be waiting
