@Tyranexx I've been on a plane tons of times. It's been like 6 years since my last flight and oh boy is my travel anxiety and normal anxiety combined making my mental state weird. I'll be fine though I'm probably excited to see some family I've not seen in irl for like 6 years, add the travel anxiety and my brain is probably overloaded with what's going to happen next week and for the next 2 weeks.
Also I'll be travelling with my family (mom, dad, brother), so I'm not too worried. Fun fact about me, I still sleep with a stuffed dog I've had since I was like 7, I like to cuddle lol.
@Kermit1 I see. Typically if someone has plane anxiety (in my experience anyway), it has to do with a fear of heights, claustrophobia, or general dislike of public transportation. I don't really mind them since I like the view and have something separating me (the seats) from others. Plus I bring enough material to keep me occupied. I started Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time on my last round trip in February. I hadn't been on a plane since late 2019 before that for a short work-related trip.
I think you'll be fine. You're traveling with others you know, and I'm sure you're also arming yourself against boredom. Just remember to breathe and that while the anxiety feels real, you aren't in any real danger. Stuffed animals are fun too, I used to collect them. I used to sleep with them too until I started feeling bad about booting them out of bed...and got too lazy when it came to moving them lol.
@Tyranexx I do have a fear of heights and large crowds. Last time I went on vacation I had no clue I had any form of anxiety but this time I know what to do, which makes me feel 50 times better.
I pray everything will go well when travelling and I hope nothing will go wrong.
Had a nice surprise today, friend wasn't doing anything this morning so went to the store with him. Got an errand done and treated myself to a few Trolls things. When I came home, a Sonic shirt came in the mail. Not bad.
@Anti-Matter Sounds like a plan. I'll probably get Smurfs Kart on Switch, unless it does what Mission Vileaf did and goes onto GOG. If a PC game comes out on GOG, it's guaranteed you'll be able to play it forever. The lack of DRM means I can install and play without relying on Internet. Meaning it's 100% offline after downloading it.
That's fine, I actually have fond memories of playing Pac-Man World 2, and never played the first, even on PlayStation. Which is funny because my brother had a PlayStation. I want to play the first.
No one has played Sonic Frontiers, it's not out yet. So all I can do is look forward to it. It looks like it's going to be a more open ended game compared to the usual Sonic games, which are usually linear, with some branching paths.
@seaboyluca Holy cow, Blood. That was basically to horror movies to what Duke Nukem 3D was to action movies. That was a good FPS game.
@KateGray That's fine, yeah it's for those who really like the cheese flavor. Will admit, I do miss going to that pizzeria that has tortellini pizza.
@MarioLover92 Sorry to hear. Glad you're a bit better. Didn't know Origins added more multiplayer levels. Little interesting tidbit, the Genesis version of Sonic 2 stretched out the split screen, that's why it always looked flat. In Sega Smash Pack 2 on PC, you can play Sonic 2 multiplayer with its "true" aspect ratio as an option, and it looks like two normal screens on top of each other. It's the only version that did this.
Fun fact about me, I still sleep with a stuffed dog I've had since I was like 7, I like to cuddle lol.
You're not the only one, I always need a plushie to sleep, even though I'm an adult. Usually, it's a plush of one of my favorite characters. Actually, I had my Poppy plushie with me when I went to see Trolls World Tour last week, and wore my Poppy shirt to the theater (second chance at seeing this movie on the big screen, I'm treating it like it's an event, lol). Plushies have always been something comforting for me at least.
Oh, I thought of you today. Friend had on YouTube and said "this ad has Kermit, so it's cool, I'm not skipping it."
@ogo79 I didn't know boots were supposed to be for comedy. I thought they were made for walking? mic drop

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
@WoomyNNYes Indeed I did. We’ll need to set up a match at some point. You have thousands of hours more experience though so I’ll expect you to go easy on me…
I had RL on PS4 but paid. So getting back into it was pretty easy. Managed to win a few games.
@bezerker99

Holy cow, Blood. That was basically to horror movies to what Duke Nukem 3D was to action movies.
I like that analogy.
Gotta say, that game scared the bejesus out of me. I was 13 at that time and I had seen a couple of horror movies already but playing such a game, like you're actually in a horror movie, was a brand new experience. I remember sneaking my way through it, slowly turning corners, saving at every possible instance,... It was such a blast.
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@Fizza Delighted to let you know that the cover's done! I made it unlisted for now but I'll put it public in a few days to keep my upload schedule consistent. Had fun making the cover art too, I've now made a habit of making new art for each cover for some individuality. Enjoy, and lemme know how I can do better!
@TheJGG Absolutely wonderful! It's a strange sensation to have a song that I recommended actually be made into a remix but it's a fantastic listen all the same! I'm a big fan of how dreamy you made it as well, especially how at the end it morphs into a kind of nightmare, very classy touch (that ending caught me off guard when I heard it for the first time, was not expecting it to put it mildly). Keep up the great work!

@Fizza Glad I could make a decent remix, and thank you so much for the recommendation in the first place! Good ear though, you caught the way I changed the sound to give it a dreamy feel. And when making it I thought about how the player has to erase this happy, quaint village from existence. It's grim stuff but I'm very pleased I managed to surprise you! It was all worth it!
