On one hand it's best to grow a thick skin and just ignore posts like that. On the other... nobody deserves to have that thrown at them. I'm not talking about the "noob" comment, that's harmless. It's the "your fault, grow up" thing that's more offending.
I fully back this paragraph. Yes, a thick skin is a good thing to develop - ESPECIALLY online - but that doesn't make anyone's feelings invalid; believe me, burying them solves nothing. This is one of the chillest threads on the internet, so I'd appreciate it if everyone kept the toxicity to a minimum or nonexistent level. Thanks.
I do miss ThanosReXXX, but I do see some Switch activity every once in a blue moon. So I know they're still out there.
@BruceCM There's never any shame in asking for help online! In fact, googling answers occasionally factors into my job.
@tekoii Dude, no need to apologize for RL! XD I think anyone in this thread gets it. And if not...that's their problem lol. I am FULLY hyped for XC3 later this month! I should have the two major games I have going (Ys I & II Chronicles+ and Metroid Dread) done and dusted by then, barring any unforeseen circumstances. I really do hope the game arrives on launch day...or at least close to it. I don't mind waiting a few days after launch if I need to, but I don't think I'll be able to stand much longer than that!
@MarioLover92 I'm...not sure how to respond without spoiling anything, but the games are more or less self-contained so far. Though from what little I do know of XC3, it does have some loose ties to the other games...but nothing you'd really miss if you haven't played them I don't think. It'll be hard to answer for sure until I've played the game. XD The other Xenoblade games all range from decent to amazing.
The "wheel" combat does look fun in Origami King. I've read it can actually be quite challenging when it comes to boss fights. As long as it isn't poorly implemented, I think I'll enjoy it!
So yeah, I ended up buying Mario+Rabbids. Got into playing it over the course of the trial. I apologize for not taking @Snatcher's advice on the Gold Edition, but honestly, I'm getting really into it. I also like how I can play a little bit and then continue later, rather than have to complete a full level before continuing.
@tekoii No problem, Paladins is definitely fun with friends. Also, I got the RWBY Crossover Pass. A friend introduce me to RWBY, so I decided to get the pack for Paladins. Though I did the buy all option, I don't have the time to grind this time, lol.
@MarioLover92 Yeah, but I didn't play two players at once, I just drove around the courses checking them out. Was kind of crazy at the time, discovering something new in a game I had, with one controller. Later on we got a second SNES controller.
@Eel But I thought Squirtle said "Squirtle, Squirtle."
@blindsquarel I feel similarly. I like coming to this forum just to talk games or anything really. I feel like I can be myself here and not have to worry too much. I've been to other forums before where I would actually worry "will I anger this person if I say I like something?" Not so much here really.
@Sunsy oh it’s ok, you don’t have to, I didn’t get it as well, I just wish Iw Luke have gotten it so I didn’t have to pay for the dlc, but the dlc goes on sale a lot as well.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Snatcher Ok, yeah I was having a good time, and like I said, the play a bit and come back later works well for me since I do get busy with chores on some day. Hoping to get the sequel physically though. Never understood why my friend and brother loved this one until playing it recently.
Yeah I noticed that when I was looking at the store page.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Has anyone ever tried jogging with their eyes closed? XD I find it feels strangely good. The sun was blazing & bright, so I closed my eyes for a moment while jogging. I don't blame anyone if this sounds totally weird. I hate running, but for some reason, running with eyes closed in nice summer weather feels strangely satisfying. I don't get it.😆 The only downside is, not seeing where you're going, hitting a tree, tripping, impaling yourself?, going off trail/sidwalk into a ditch, car, truck, cedar/pine tree, rocky stream, or fence.... or stepping on a snake last month. I have no idea why it feels so good. Not shocked if it's just me.
Regarding ThanosReXXX, I haven' seen his Switch user active for almost a year now. If someone finds a life outside of gaming, I assume it's a good thing. I only started gaming more when I burned out on skiing and other life things. I think Thanos was one of the first people that welcomed & included me here in chit chat thread. He's alright!<3
@tekoii Yeah that'd be fun for sure. Some of those races me and @TheJGG were in were pretty nuts, too. lol
@Tyranexx You're good, no worries. That's definitely understandable, I don't think the game's even come out yet, lol. I'll probably at least play more of the Xenoblade games before playing the 3rd one to be on the safe side. Even better if I can finish all the stories.
Yeah, the boss battles are indeed tough because of that. Do let me know your thoughts when you make a good amount of progress if you can.
Ah yeah, I remember seeing Thanos around a while back, we've talked for a little bit as well. I do hope they're doing all right.
@Sunsy Gotcha. You got to check out the battle courses with just one controller plugged in, huh? Wonder how that's done.
I've actually been playing a bit of Mario + Rabbids last night, and I actually have it. I still got the platinum coins which was sweet.
@blindsquarel You're very welcome - Nintendo Life's boards has proven to be a nice place for me to talk games and stuff. Many other forums, not so much. I've had that exact issue, too...when I was in school, before college that is, I would be ridiculed for liking stuff like Nintendo games, being told that stuff like Call of Duty is (supposedly) better. And it wasn't good for me. Just talking with others here about my favorite stuff, in a pleasant manner of course, is good for my mental health as well.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
I was browsing through 'spoilers without context' memes again (specifically for Avengers Endgame) and it made really want to try out one of them myself so:

While I never did get to play Wii Sports Resort, I kind of miss Wuhu Island. Nowadays the only remnants of it appear to be the Smash Wii U stage in Smash Ultimate, Chambara in Switch Sports and 3DS Wuhu Town in MK8 Deluxe battle mode.
@Grumblevolcano
Yeah, wuhu island is amazing. I can’t figure out why Nintendo decided to cast it aside for switch sports. It would have been a great marketing tool at the very least.
@Anti-Matter - Hey Anti, yep, my daughter went back to in person learning last year, and they’ll both be there this coming school year. It might be a little strange at first, but you’ll probably really enjoy being back in the classroom again.
@WoomyNNYes - Ha, I do remember spammy lee, but I can’t remember who came up with it or the context. It does seem like a Thanos kinda joke though.
@Tyranexx - Hey! Doing well here, hope the same for you. These dang kids are keeping me busier than ever. They’ll both be in school this fall, so I guess I’ll join the real world again. I finally managed to flip the basement and I’m in the process of moving back in and setting it up. I have confirmed space for a retro gaming area. I’ll post a pic when it’s set up, I’m very excited.
@bimmy-lee Oh yeah haha I miss Ogo' s comments, he was much more active. I suppose that we'll slowly vanish while new users become the "usual people" here. I know it's natural but it kinda freaks me out haha.
