@Tyranexx You're good, no worries. That's definitely understandable, I don't think the game's even come out yet, lol. I'll probably at least play more of the Xenoblade games before playing the 3rd one to be on the safe side. Even better if I can finish all the stories.

Yeah, the boss battles are indeed tough because of that. Do let me know your thoughts when you make a good amount of progress if you can.

I've actually been playing a bit of Mario + Rabbids last night, and I actually have it. I still got the platinum coins which was sweet.

@blindsquarel You're very welcome - Nintendo Life's boards has proven to be a nice place for me to talk games and stuff. Many other forums, not so much. I've had that exact issue, too...when I was in school, before college that is, I would be ridiculed for liking stuff like Nintendo games, being told that stuff like Call of Duty is (supposedly) better. And it wasn't good for me. Just talking with others here about my favorite stuff, in a pleasant manner of course, is good for my mental health as well.

While I never did get to play Wii Sports Resort, I kind of miss Wuhu Island. Nowadays the only remnants of it appear to be the Smash Wii U stage in Smash Ultimate, Chambara in Switch Sports and 3DS Wuhu Town in MK8 Deluxe battle mode.

While I remember that case, @Fizza .... I'm not familiar enough with just the images to work out how they relate to it! Sorry

Yeah, wuhu island is amazing. I can’t figure out why Nintendo decided to cast it aside for switch sports. It would have been a great marketing tool at the very least.

The Bayonetta 3 release date is bitter sweet. Happy it's still coming this year but stinks where they tucked it in. No time or money for all of this!

@Anti-Matter - Hey Anti, yep, my daughter went back to in person learning last year, and they’ll both be there this coming school year. It might be a little strange at first, but you’ll probably really enjoy being back in the classroom again.

@Tyranexx - Hey! Doing well here, hope the same for you. These dang kids are keeping me busier than ever. They’ll both be in school this fall, so I guess I’ll join the real world again. I finally managed to flip the basement and I’m in the process of moving back in and setting it up. I have confirmed space for a retro gaming area. I’ll post a pic when it’s set up, I’m very excited.

@MarioLover92 All I did was swap controllers at character select, choose player two, and swapped back. In those days, I most games didn't give you a "please connect player two's controller" error message. So I just drove around the battle stages since player two was standing still obviously.

Nice bonus. I got into it because of the trial, and got the digital version because it was so cheap. I like it, honestly, it's making me want the sequel, which I'll consider getting physically.

Helped teach a kid how to ride a bike on a quarterpipe today at a local skatepark. He was about 12 years old, and kept going up the ramp and sliding out at the top when he'd try to bunnyhop and turn. I've never seen anyone in my life screw it up like he was.🤣 The ramp is slippery, though, and he didn't know what he was doing. After I told him a couple things to focus on, he started getting the hang of the bunnyhop turn at the top of the five foot tall quaterpipe(two meters-ish). He was so psyched. It was pretty cool to see. I'm glad I was there. He said thanks so many times. I was glad I could share the sercrets. I remember how effing clueless I was when I was learning. I was about the same age, too, when I was learning to ride the 6 foot quarterpipe my brother built.

I'm psyched for the beach trip coming up. Taking the switch to play with the nieces. Oh crap, they have a switch now too. I forgot. There's an ok cement skatepark by the place, plenty of nature, and the weather isn't hot AF like it is most years. I love the drive to the beach. The drive takes up most of the day. First hour of driving is garbage, but the rest is great.

Nintendo should make their Switch Sports game like Go Vacation by Bandai Namco where you can free roaming in several different resorts area and there are a lot of sports and indoor / outdoor activities to be played.
