OK, that sounds like it might be worth it for you, then, @Pizzamorg .... It just seems likely The Last of Us would have come to PC by now, to me but I'd like to play particularly the 1st myself, so I hope it does come
Depends how many games like that there are, though, if you would still wait for PC versions of the timed exclusives
@Zuljaras Lamb is damn good, but I might have to take you up on that snail.
@Pizzamorg If there are a lot of first party’s you want to play on PlayStation, then yes. A few might get ported to the PC but that’s about it, Xbox is just one in console form, so if you really don’t use it, you can probably trade it for a PS5.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Snatcher Sony did acquire a PC porting specialist studio (Nixxes) so the plan is clearly to delve deeper into the PC space. To what extent is yet to be seen though the Nvidia list reported on in September suggests much more.
@Sunsy Oh that's cool to hear. We used that Hewlett Packard PC (it was our second computer) for the longest time, it originally had Windows 98 then we upgraded it to XP. I think we first got it in 1999? We've had it until we got a newer computer that had Windows Vista.
I looked up Links LS 1998 and it doesn't look super familiar to me. Maybe it was PGA Tour Golf 95? The title and grass texture look kind of familiar from the screenshots. Ah well, won't stress about that. Ah that's cool, I used to love playing MTM, though I never got into the drag mode. I'd just do the circuit and rally modes since I was way more used to racing around tracks, lol.
Yeah, I liked using Windows Media Player as well. I actually went ahead and downloaded it on my laptop. Maybe I'm a bit too stubborn or something, but I didn't really like using Microsoft Groove since they drastically changed the layout.

@MarioLover92 I'm still half-tempted to properly try one of the NES Castlevanias, but I'm not in too big a hurry. XD I'm avoiding the older Ninja Gaiden games, but didn't the series receive a sort of reboot a few years ago? I'd be willing to try those if they aren't controller-throwing difficulty. With Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, I became fed up even with restore point use lol.
@BruceCM Ah, so you saw my comment? It was all tongue-in-cheek, I tell you!
@Tyranexx I do know there was Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox, though I've never played it. That one is likely a reboot. I think that also came out on Switch via a collection? Just going off my memory here. I might give Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts a shot, if I'm feeling masochistic enough. I know I'm not gonna make it very far, however. lol
We were talking about Mega Man earlier, there was one classic series MM game I never beat, which was Mega Man & Bass. Seriously, that game makes the other MM games look like a walk in the park. It is that hard. There's even one fortress level that is ridiculously long, with like 4 bosses to fight. The first one takes around a couple years to beat (ok, I'm exaggerating, but it has a huge amount of HP), and the second one is where I called it quits. Guess what happens when you get a game over in that level? Yeah, it's back to square one with you. Thanks, Capcom.

Ninja Gaiden Master Collection, @Tyranexx .... Released last June 21st for everything, lol! Never played them before that to compare but I wouldn't say they're THAT difficult I played them on Steam, though
@MarioLover92 Nice, my mother used that old PC for years, then around 2009 a friend gave her a Windows XP machine similar to my old gaming PC, minus the Radeon graphics card. That dual booted Windows and Linux, Mom would surf the new safely on Linux, and use Windows for the other things she needed to do.
Alrighty, I did notice the Links games showing up, that series is an EA series IIRC. EA does have some GOG games, but missing a lot of the old sports games there. Sounds fun, that's what I did with Super Mario Kart when I was younger, used Time Trial to drive around tracks. I still do that with a lot of racing games. It's just a fun way to relax.
I don't think I ever used Microsoft Groove. For music, it was always iTunes and Windows Media Player for me. Would mostly use it to listen to my CDs and my digital music, and it would sync to my iPod and battery powered MP3 player respectively.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Just read a thread on paper Mario color splash and it might be the most toxic thing I have read. Like legit death threads over not liking TTYD. This is why I avoid the paper Mario fan base.

@blindsquarel Why people get hung on death threats on a gaming forum like it is something real? Just laugh at it because the other guys are probably foaming from the rage

@blindsquarel The boggling part isn’t even video games, it’s the fact that people are arguing and insulting each other over a Paper Mario game. Really?!
At least do it with a mainline Mario game instead. Not Paper Mario!
@MarioLover92 Yep, I think there was a Ninja Garden collection on Switch IIRC. I might give the series a try at some point, but it's fairly low priority lol. I did only save Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts for my better moods and still didn't have the best time.
As for Mega Man & Bass, I know of the title but not necessarily the difficulty involved. I'm not a fan of HP sponge bosses depending on the setting/mechanics, THAT game sounds like it's purely masochistic lol. Or one that's perfect for the "Get gud" crowd.
@BruceCM Ah, so that's the correct title! Sounds like the collection overall is easier than the originals at any rate!
@Sunsy That's cool, I never used Linux, but I do have anti-virus software on my laptop and it's been doing a pretty good job at keeping it protected. I didn't play too much of EA's games besides The Sims, but there was one EA Sports game that I definitely remember, which was NHL '94 for the SNES. My dad used to have that game.
I would literally do the same thing! I would drive around the courses in Mario Kart 64, Diddy Kong Racing, F-Zero X - all in time trial mode - quite a lot as a kid. Though, anytime I play Mario Kart nowadays, it's usually the online.
Nice, I've used iTunes as well. What I've done recently was copying songs from CDs to my laptop's hard drive, so I would just pull up Windows Media Player if I'd like to listen to them. I have those songs on my phone as well.
@blindsquarel Was that on Nintendo Life? I can't blame you for staying away from that fanbase...some people go way too overboard. As much as I like TTYD, at least I don't make death threats toward those who even think of critiquing it.
@Tyranexx I may give the newer games a shot at some point, though I'm not exactly in a rush either. Yeah...MM&B is a rather unforgiving game. Most of the stages and robot masters are a pain to deal with, too. If you're playing as Mega Man, you're gonna be having a rough time with a lot of the stages, since he doesn't even have stuff like the Rush Coil/Jet. There's no energy tanks to help you out, either. It is pretty cool to play as Bass though, since he has a dash and a double jump in his moveset. Plus he has a rapid-fire buster that can shoot in any direction.
