Don’t get me wrong it is still a great game. But unless you have plenty of money to spend, due to how expensive it is, I wouldn’t say it is a must play.

Okay, i was playing Epic Chef PS4 this afternoon and i found something very surprising.

@Anti-Matter you’d be surprised with what kind of meat people will eat, bug, dog, slug i thing, yeah idk but if they find it good who am I to say otherwise.

@Snatcher Actually snails are not that bad in taste if cooked properly! Also I really love deep fried Rapana which is a carnivore sea snail. Really delicious!

I for one wonder how people can eat lamb. It is so damn smelly even if cooked by a professional. It is one of the most disgusting meats for me and yet many people eat it

To anyone who owns a PS5, is the value proposition there right now, or nah? I game on PC/Switch predominantly, I bought a Series X around launch but have to be honest, I barely use it. However, every now and then, I am reminded I missed out on maybe like the last three to four years of PS4 exclusives, games like Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, and of course haven't touched any of the PS5 exclusives out right now that aren't available on the PC as well. Is that value proposition enough, or should I really be waiting for a year or two, as then there might be some sort of slim version at a cheaper price?

@Pizzamorg I don't own one but an important thing to consider is if the games came to PC would you just buy them on PC instead. If the answer is yes then you should probably hold off.

Yeah I bought Days Gone on PC (but that game sucked lol) and I replayed God of War on PC (that game rocks). So yeah, if Ghost and Last of Us etc are all gonna get on PC eventually I can wait.

I mean I could never imagine eating dog, but that is a delicacy in other countries. Different cultures eat different things.

The Last of Us is looking likely to stay exclusive, @Pizzamorg .... Not sure about Ghost of Tsushima, though! Certainly for looking forward, it seems likely more of the games will come to PC later, though, so really it might be better getting a PS4 to play the few older ones?
As for whether there'll be a PS5 slim or whatever next year, your guess is as good as mine but that's quite possible, of course!

I feel a lot better, last night I was tired and my anxiety was high (caffeine I love and hate you)
and I will be posting art on the art thread once I find out how to take photos with my chromebook.
But I'll probably start posting some digital stuff first (I'm better with a pencil then a mouse)

Just beat Octo Expansion and just.... wow. Easily the best DLC I've ever played. The creativity on display in how they used Splatoon 2's seemingly rigid mechanics was astounding, the story was extremely interesting (especially through the chat logs), it expanded Pearl and Marina to such an amazing degree and the music throughout was (and is!) some of the best in Nintendo history. Not to mention the final set piece oh my god. Yes, I did die about 6 times before completing it (how did I beat Girl Power, considered the hardest mission in the game, in about the same amount of attempts yet struggled on the literal last level!?), but the ending sequence as a whole was joyful to go through from start to finish. I cannot wait to 100% it now, I skipped like 30 levels to get to this point!

I have a PS4, just not sure I could go back to gaming in 1080p at 30fps. I make do with the Switch, because it is my only option (and the main reason I don't play a lot of third party on it unless it is an indie), but when I know PS5 versions exist of those other titles, playing them in their PS4 form would just make me sad.
