I'm not really an expert on amiibo, @Fizza .... But most of them work with plenty of different games! Here's a link I found for 'Mario Odyssey amiibo' https://amiibo.fandom.com/wiki/Super_Mario_Odyssey Maybe others here know more about options for buying them, though
Just got back from watching Turning Red and it was fantastic! Such a relaxing and fun movie!

I've just started up Octo Expansion there today, got 15 tests done already. For a quick first impressions: I've never been more humbled in my entire life. I thought I was decent at Splatoon and that Octo Expansion wouldn't be that hard. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKES IN UNDERESTIMATING IT. Still fantastic though like oh my god it's so GOOD.

@1UP_MARIO Super Mario Marryme? @TheJGG ok. its everyones own choice to do so. @Kermit1 ah allright. lets fight (just kidding )
@Zuljaras ok... so do we agree?? hehe - I got a story of female voice director who (after 10 years) called me a stalker. I did a animation 10 years ago and she said afterwords (also on TV) that I was a "great talent!". After that, i send her some messages (I agree that i send a bit too much messages.) I did some animation after 2012 btw (even now; there is something in the pipeline). But anyway, this year I got a Voice Over coaching over Zoom in America who did a lot of cartoons in Holland. He called her and she said "O that boy!" He is a Stalker!" - pretty smart for someone I havent seen for about 10 years (!). In the message she also revealed that I "wasn't as good" as she said on TV. Allright. So I got hyped for a message , which was a lie 10 year ago, and after 10 years people are still calling me a stalker (havent seen or spoken the director ever since).
Eh. Ok. Well, luckily I got called by another studio who thought I was worth something
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@reporterdavid I really despise how industries work sometimes. They can cancel you (or at least try) just from an unconfirmed information. Like in your case. Overreactive people are the worst

@chapu2006 I think I just played the stage you were talking about (Matchmaker Station is what it was called) and.... was it meant to be hard? I mean I did die like twice but that was just accidental trigger finger moments more than anything. I honestly really liked how zen and calm it felt, it was a nice change of pace from constantly fighting for my life.
So I beat TTYD a few weeks ago and here are my thoughts.
It is a great game, but overrated. There were a few problems I had with the game that I never saw brought up about the game. 1. Exploration is really bad. My favorite chapters were chapter three and six. Both of which limit you exploration wise to a single area. But they were so much more fun to explore then any other chapter. 2. Backtracking. This starts pouring on hard after chapter three. The only chapters that didn’t have a heavy amount of backtracking( post chapter three) were chapters 6 and 8. Not to say I hated any of these chapters, but I certainly didn’t want them to continue. 3. my favorite chapters were 3 and 6. These were what I found the most unique. Every other chapter was good, but seemed to follow the same formula. For all the praise the game gets for being unique, the only chapters I feel warrant such high praise are chapters 3 and 6. Not to say the others are not unique, but they aren’t to the level they are hyped up to be. 7. The peach sections got old really quick.
That’s basically all the flaws I have with the game. I won’t go over all the pros because this is a long comment but here are my big ones.1. The battles are amazing. All the bosses are good and combat is fun. 2. The story is great and gets really interesting the more you go on.
3. Every partner is fun and unique, my favorite being the yoshi. Admiral bobbery’s backstory was quite simply amazing.4. All the characters were unique and fun to talk to, I loved all the pre chapter quests to. 5. Rouge port is the best hub area in the series.
My new series rankings go as follows( keep in mind 1-3 could really be switched depending on the day.)
1. Oragami king
2. Super
3. TTYD
4. 64
5. Color splash
6. Sticker Star
@blindsquarel Definitely the biggest problem I had with TTYD and the reason why I never beat it is because of the backtracking/ repetitive exploration. I think the game has the best combat, story, and characters in the series, which is why it's so heavily regarded. But it also has a lot of issues that I think a remake could do well to fix.
Still haven't gotten around to Oragami King though... it's on my bucket list though.

I'm glad you have made your review about TTYD so I can moved on from TTYD when the price on Ebay got inflated and the gameplay was not as good as people thought.
I believe there are some better games than TTYD that I can play with reasonable price.
Thanks for the quick review.
@MarioLover92 Cool, had Microsoft Arcade for Mac, but the Atari collection on Windows. The first Windows PC my family had was a Windows 95 Toshiba PC. Amazingly, mom used it for a long time too. I got a Windows XP PC for gaming in 2004, but mom continued with that old PC. I even put a lower end version of Linux on it so she can keep using it. Then she finally got a new PC from a family friend, and I still put Linux on it. She prefered using Linux as she would browse the Internet on it, and didn't want to worry about Windows viruses.
I never played a golf game on PC, but will take the wild guess it's Links. GOG added those awhile back. I think my friend knows Monster Truck Madness, I remember playing demos to various racing games on that old PC. I also remember playing the Jimmy Neutron games, Red Faction, and Max Payne on it. Max Payne looked its best when I got my Windows XP gaming PC, but still worked on low on the old PC.
Yeah, I also remember Windows Media Player, really liked one of the older versions, can't remember which one, I remember using it in 2007 with my MP3 player (still have it and it works, save it as it uses an AAA battery). Cool, I remember playing various Nickelodeon and Disney flash games. I also remember several 3D ones using some plug-in, those were impressive.
