@Zuljaras Well, at the risk of repeating myself: you're getting better with each piece. Is that a golem or something, or an elemental?

@Anti-Matter Nice drawings from you as well, Anti. I know I can be a bit harsh with you sometimes, and all the copy cat kick-boxers aren't exactly my thing as you also know, but I still admire and appreciate your skill nonetheless.

Personally, I do prefer the naturally colored pictures over the computer-inked ones, though, because that is one of your skills that I appreciate the most: your competence in color gradients, and your awareness of how lighter and darker colors should be used in the right way. That's not something that comes natural to everybody.

That's the most important bit, @Zuljaras .... Problem being, with how much time, effort & everything required to do them individually by hand, you'd have to charge a fortune for them

Sorry for the late replies, folks. This week has been insane between work (online conference plus a ton of bugs to troubleshoot, which means extra hours....), personal issues/goings-on, and my bro's bday yesterday (Quiet evening celebration with immediate family). Plus they're (understandably) putting more restrictions on a lot of activities in my state again starting tomorrow thanks to Covid counts rising all across the board, so there's been that to deal with at all the aforementioned levels. I'll likely be working from home again soon and will need to move equipment to my house. So....yeah. Crazy busy. Haven't had a lot of time to relax/decompress, and it's starting to show. When will this week end?

@Heavyarms55 I'm glad Gen 6 is coming to PoGo, though I still have some significant holes in my Unova Pokedex lol. Some of those Pokemon are literal unicorns where I am. Still haven't hatched an Axew. Glad for the level cap rising as well, though my reception will be based in part on how some of those supplementary tasks work.

Sorry for missing those raid invites. My parents'place is a black hole for cell reception, and their slow wifi means most notifications and alerts for anything aren't timely. Glad to read you had a productive raid hour!

Oh, back on year before 2013 used to be i used multi layered color so it has some nice gradients but that was when i worked with around 12 different pictures.
But for my project 2021, i was planning to make 24 different pictures so vector style was my quickest method to draw as there were some issues with certain designs during working.

Let's say my Owl (wrong head design, wrong wings design), my Crow (wrong wings design too), my Woodpecker and Duck (no wings drawn on the sketch since i need to know their feathers shape).

I was planning to go back with my old style that i have ever tried on year 2010 and 2011 for my project 2023 that i could start on year 2021 since i don't want to get busy by my projects. The design will have no outlines, colorful gradients, looks like faux 3D rendering. But design style like that are very risky since i have to check all the vector shapes from Corel Draw before i proceed to Corel Photopaint to start the magic. This one my example on year 2012 for faux 3D characters.

And these are with outline and multi layered colors.

YES! KOS-MOS! FINALLY!!! I am never starting a new game in Xenoblade 2 again! Ever! That grind was old Pokemon game full odds shiny levels of bad. I don't know how many hundreds of crystals I opened. I adore XC2 so much but this one thing this one major, key mechanic, is so unbelievably frustrating!

@Anti-Matter Haha, that bread picture is unintentionally funny, seeing as the long bread/french bread is standing behind the normal bread in a suspicious/suggestive way, especially because of the look on its face...

I also think you kind of missed the part where I mentioned preferring hand-drawn and hand-colored pictures, instead of computer-drawn ones, so even though these are still okay and/or good enough, I prefer ACTUAL drawings, on paper, with pencils/crayons or paint.

@Tyranexx I know it’s idiotic but that’s how teens think rn. Incredibly annoying 😕 mostly social media trash and trying to come off as cool. I like to think I’m not like most teens my age. I just try to be nice.

@Blooper987 @Tyranexx The sad truth is that there are so many men that crawl for girls just to have the smallest contact with them because they are lonely. They are ready to call any girl a goddess Those are the real simps.

Unfortunately the normal guys get called that for behaving normally like talking to girls, going out with girls instead of being their keyboard/real life slaves etc.

I am glad for gen 6 too. But I also have several holes in my gen 5 list too. My Axew was a lucky hatch for sure. It's the only one I have had yet.

Hey guys, so I'm here eating 5 lobsters in my yacht in the Bahamas.
Unfortunately, one of the seven thousand PS5's I own made an annoying sound when I turned it on so I had to throw it in the ocean haha. It's the tenth one today.

@Blooper987 ...I suppose in a sense that's how things are for most who go through ye olde teenage years. I hope you aren't relentlessly ragged on for it. Being nice is a definite +1. Heck, just be your genuine self. Take it from someone who was a teen just over a decade ago lol. Though I wouldn't say I was ever "normal", but even the definition of that word varies from person to person. XD

@Zuljaras Agreed. I want to be treated like a human being lol. Not less than that on the spectrum, nor like I'm some kind of goddess or anything. IMO a relationship should be a partnership where the SO is treated as well as oneself.

The lack of an Axew in my repertoire drives me crazy. Haxorus is one of my favorite Dragon Pokemon. I'm sure I'll obtain one at some point, but for now I'll just have to hope I hatch an egg with one.

I did obtain a shiny today at least. A 7K egg I received from @Eel produced a shiny Alolan Grimer! Second one.

On the busy stuff: Thanks. I typed that entire post on a work treadmill earlier during my lunch; exercise is one of the ways I decompress a little. I don't adore it by any means, but I can't deny that it helps work off some frustration along with the usual health benefits. Meant to hit some local trails instead since it was unseasonably nice today, but they're already closed due to Kill Bambi season....It doesn't start until tomorrow here and goes through the weekend. Sooo...Yeah. spent part of my lunch driving for nothing. [Cue near short-circuit]

The work/home transition will be more gradual this time, but the plan is that I'll be fully remote the week after Thanksgiving. Technically by Thanksgiving if I didn't have that day and the day after off. XD

@NintendoByNature Now I know who to forward all Taco Bell orders to!
