@FriedSquid: I've sort of been wanting to upgrade to a N3DS for a while, and was planning to do so near the obvious end of the 3DS family's tenure. I still have plenty of 3DS games to play and buy, after all! I don't think I truly noticed the battery deterioration until I started playing Bravely Default; most of the games that I've played on it in the last year or so were either games that didn't use the 3D effect much (Pokemon Y/OR) or were VC games.
It'll likely still be a few months before I pick up a N3DS though (stock is a bit lacking atm, plus there are other things I need to buy), so for now I'll probably just invest in a new battery. Only problem there is that I'll also have to buy the right screwdriver for it (#00).

My copy of the Oracle of Seasons and Ages Legendary Edition manga arrived today.
I read the whole thing in a single sitting.
It was a little disappointing how the colored pages only lasted for half of the first episode of the first chapter (and then it's all monochrome), but it's still a really nice read.
The Ages chapter is definitely the best of the two, it did a great job adapting the story of the game.
Too bad the extra story is just an even shorter version of Seasons.
I kinda want to order the one with the Phantom Hourglass manga, but I must resist.
@Meowpheel: I picked up a copy of the Minish Cap manga from a book fair a couple weeks ago (wasn't expecting to find anything I was interested in, lol). I'm hoping to get around to reading it soon.

@Meowpheel: I've never read any of the Zelda manga, this will be my first one. I flipped through it briefly, and it does look quite charming. Minish Cap's story is still pretty fresh in my mind, so I'll have to see how things stack up.
