@JadeGirl Say what you will about Spider-Man 3 and to some extent the first Spider-Man, but the second one was undeniable comic-book gold.

I did enjoy the Spider Man 3 to some extent but I didn't like Spider Man I and II in any way.

I was really impressed with the new 'Amazing Spider Man' trailer and I like Peter Parker's new look along with the tone and feeling that the trailer gave which seemed very much in line with the feeling that the Spider Man comics gave invoked for me.

The trailer also shared the ambiance and origins story of the golden animated 'Spectacular Spider Man' show and that really and truly has got me excited as I really liked that TV show.

I agree Jaden was better than Ralph Machio but I am sorry its not a Karate Kid movie to me without Mr. Miyagy.

I loved all 3 Spider Man movies, and I'm sure I'll enjoy this one as well. Also, if it's more accurate to the comics, I'm fine with another reboot.

Have you seen the '90s Spider Man? Or the Amazing Spider Man show?

No, I haven't but my sister and our ex-friends from North Carolina used to drive me nuts about watching those two shows. However, when I finally agreed to give it a chance Jetix was no more we got Disney XD and so I was never able to see those two Spider Man programs.

The first Spider-man was great. The only thing I didn't like about it was the Green Goblin.
His costume looked like a dumb power Rangers mask. He should have had some sort of Cloak or hood similar to the comic and less human.

With Spider- man 2 I had no complaints. Fantastic movie all around! One of the few sequels that surpassed the original.

Spider-man 3 was still good but they messed up a few things. Venom's portrayal was a far cry from the original source.
He's supposed to be a Big scary buff guy. Not some scrawny little twerp like (whoever that guy was that played him)
Sand Man was done very well I thought. The actor they got was perfect for the role. In some ways he stole the show.

@Link79: IMO they should have only had Sandman in Spiderman 3 and saved Venom for the sequel or whatever. That was one of the things that disappointed me with Spidey 3. TO me it just seemed like they tossed Venom in there without any real thought just for the fanboys to go nuts that Venom is in one of the Spidermans.

I agree as well that the second one was the best one of them.

Can't wait until they reboot this movie and the sequels spawned by it.

Well not to be a downer but I didn't watch the show because of the art style. I like stylized art in animated productions which is why I really like animation like Teen Titans, Transformers Animated and the epic stylization of Genndy Tartakovsky's productions. such as Sym Bionic Titans and Samurai Jack. Nevertheless, I shall watch the show as it has quite nice and fluid animations.

Also, I loved this 1994 show!

...to each their own, I guess. However, I do like the art style in the shows you mentioned, yet the art in The Spectacular Spider Man is revolting, IMO. Then again, I read some of the comics, and the one in the '90s show is closer to that style. In fact, I grew up when most action shows had that comic book style to it.

So is the 90's animated Spider-man show the best there has been?
I've never actually watched an entire show of these for some reason.
Guess I wasn't paying much attention to it back then.
Maybe I'll check them out on Netflix.

@WaveBoy: It's a whole year before the movie is released. I consider this more as a teaser and I'd say the advertising in the next 6 months will change.

The Only character I liked in Spiderman 3 was Henry, he was cutest guy in the movie that I liked. He is the only thing that kept me watching the movie to the end of the film. I hope they will have another character like him in this upcoming movie.

That's something I don't mind, I loved Jacob in the Twilight saga. My favorite part in the trailer was when he was asking to go with his parents and they said he couldn't and he was looking out the window watching them leave the house.

Was anyone else reminded of that show Dawson's creek when they watched that trailer?

Well don't go put the hurt on him guys, this is just a teaser trailer this is not the real thing! You have to wait till next year. Everyone has to be so critical and going saying bad things about a movie.
