Once again, I dislike and am confused by how Spider Man's origin story is portrayed. Other than that, it looks fine.

It looks the same as the first movie. I think it's too soon for a reboot...

Honestly, I can't imagine anyone else under that mask but this man here.

I'll watch it, but not with high expectations. It was shot in 3D by the way.

Mechanical web shooters! (nerdgasm) I personally think this new Peter will outshine Tobey's version.

1. I'm interested, as I loved the original trilogy.

2. I wish they would stop re-booting the series, as then they never progress much.

3. I swear to God if they get Treyarch to make another open-world game akin to Spider Man 2 based on this movie i will hug them.

Just like everyone else I think its too early to reboot the Spiderman series. IMO they should have just done a fourth movie without Raimi rather than a reboot. From what I have see I will admit it looks alot better than I though it would be. The only think I think Tobey Migure made a better geek this guy is a little too good looking. I cant wait to see The Lizard.

I might see it just out of curiosity. The trailer wasn't that great honestly.
As far as I'm concerned Tobey is Spider-man.
Why do we need another origin story so soon after the original?
Watch them Reboot the Christopher Nolan Batman films after 5 years.

There are rumors flying around that after Dark Knight Rising they will reboot the Batman series to have it eventually lead up to a Justice League movie like Marvel is doing with the Avengers.

I really hope there's nothing like that CG scene in the movie. It looked like a video game.

OH YES I LIKE IT! But 1 thing I wish they would cast someone els as Spider-man I don't really care for him and Spidey >.<, but so far so good, can't wait for it to come out !

as a rule, I can't stand more than 2 different adaptations and/or versions of pretty much any work of fiction ever

That was the worst CGI ever.

Also my hopes that it might top Spider-Man 2 have flown out the window.

Regarding the new movie trailer what was with that videogame like viewpoint? It looks like some Spider-man First person style videogame. You can only see his arms and no body. I'm already feeling sick to my stomach after seeing this.
Please Hollywood stop with the Reboots. We didn't need a new Karate kid and we certainly don't need this.
Leave the classics alone and get some original ideas.

@Link79, I don't agree, the other 3 Spiderman movies were lame in my point of view and I did not like Tobey as Spiderman AT ALL! I could never get through the whole movie because it was so bad, and Mary Jane could have been much better, those two actor's could have been dumped in the trash can .

I think this movie is the best, I am so excited this one looks so much better in all ways possible. I also loved the KARATE KID WITH AWESOME KID JADEN SMITH! It was the best in my opinion, and my friends loved it as well.
