Topic: TFS Dragon Ball Z Abridged

I just finished watching the new one. I kinda feel bad for Trunks.

I need to catch up on this.

Love that Jerk*** Vegeta, can't wait to see 18 pummel him, then add another count to Krillin's Owned meter. Another wonderful Lord Freeza day gift from TFS.

@GamecubeMan Well, seeing that TFS is going through the movies by their release dates, we still have Cooler returns and Episode of Trunks to upload. But still, I'd love to see a Broly or S13 abridged.

The second cooler movie is quite good, can't wait to see how they'll handle it after how entertaining the first one was.

Yeah the 2nd Cooler movie was great, a TFS dub will be awesome considering how Cooler was a windbag in the 1st movie. I can't wait to see how they tackle Cooler spilling the beans how Goku and Vegeta could defeat him when they were bound in the star and the metacooler fights.

I kinda want them to do another "Kai abridged" of season two. The first one was hilarious, and it serves as a really good recap, surprisingly.

This makes me wonder if they will ever do GT? Despite the negative fan response it was a decent series but it still pales in comparison to Z.

@GamecubeMan They still have to do the Buu Saga first. Last time I heard, Takahana and co. only planned to make episodes up to the Cell games saga. And if ever, they should make it as short as the Garlic saga abridged or the Kai abridged just to sum up how much it was bad. I'm sorry but even if it had some cool parts, GT was overall a bad experience.

I hope they're only doing through the Cell Saga, That alone's gonna take them at least 30-50+ episodes...

@Karakato I have to agree. The plot just seemed to drag the whole series. Especially during the black star dragon ball saga. At any rate I really hope they decide to abridge the Buu saga. Although it was a point in the series when ratings were not as hot I think it was cool how the writers made really bold decisions in the plot.

I like the Buu saga, plus, the we're not gonna get enough Hercule Satan in just the Cell saga.

Buu saga is probably the darkest out of all of them. A lot of the supporting characters were shown to be killed

@DarkwingLz Exactly. On top of that something about Majin Buu was really unsettling. He has no remorse for life whatsoever but he behaves extremely childlike. Another dark storyline that has already been mentioned was the special explaining Trunk’s history in the alternate timeline. I am extremely curious how TFS will handle that.

In the first season Goku, Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo and even the all-mighty Yamcha were killed. Those scenes were all quite humorous.

I actually thought the Cell saga was the most unsettling. It showed a near dystopic society run by this super powerful villain which was on Earth rather than out in space like the Frieza saga. The Buu saga was pretty comical in my opinion just because Buu was never really a fully fledged villain and neither were Babadi or the Majins. Even when we got Evil Buu and Super Buu, the stuff they did still didn't match to what Frieza and Cell did. Plus, at that point in the series the notion that we'll-just-wish-everyone-who-died-back-in-the-end was in full force so none of the deaths felt like they had impact.

It's been a while since I've watched through the series though, so maybe I've missed something.

Vegeta had some great character development. I remember that.
