@ KaiserGX You've never heard of Spawn? He's a black guy. I wouldn't want a white guy playing that part anymore than I'd want a black Superman. I'm not saying all people of color have to play thugs and lowlifes. It's about tradition and such. Perry white has always been white. How would you feel if Santa clause was suddenly skinny and wore Purple? Just wouldn't be the same now would it?

I didn't say Purple skin. I said what if Santa wore Purple?

Just cause he's a different color, he can't play the character? Why do you deprive him so!Spawn looks like.
Correct the part is a white guy not an African American. I mean no disrespect to Laurence Fishburne hes a great actor but I dont like when they come along and change a part after years of it being the way it is. Perry White has always been white. Look at the Superman comics, look at the Superman Movies with Christopher Reeves, Look at the Lois and Clark TV series, look at Superman Returns. To me chaning the race just runins the integrity of it. As I said I would be this upset if they mad another Fat Albert Moive and casted Kevin James or Adam Sandler in the Fat Albert role. Just like I said I was ticked when the casted Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury when Nick Fury is a white guy.

RE: The Nick Fury "change" in the Marvel movies...
That wasn't originally done in or for the movies. In the Ultimate Marvel universe/continuity, Nick Fury was introduced as a black man when he first appeared in 2001. The next year, he went through a slight re-design to look (intentionally) like Samuel L. Jackson. There was actually a line in one of the Ultimate books where Fury said that Samuel L. Jackson should play him if they made a movie about their exploits, and reportedly it was shortly thereafter that Jackson made a deal to play Fury in any upcoming movies if they were to include Fury.

Really????? I didnt know that. Huh ok well I guess I stand corrected on Nick Fury but I still prefer him a white guy.
I wonder if having The Hoff play him made Marvel change him.

@ Joetherocker No way Superman IV sucked. Nuclear man was lame. Superman 3 was probably worse though. Only good part was the Drunk Superman scene where he's flicking peanuts at the beer bottles. The first two movies were awesome though!
