I also posted this in Pushsquare. This is for the PSP version on Vita. I am on the moon and came back to the whale ship from crystal palace. I’m trying to get inside the whale ship but I just keep walking over it when I touch it, the screen doesn’t change to inside the ship. I tried restarting the game and re enter and exit the nearby cave but it still doesn’t work. What is causing this problem and how do I solve it? I would appreciate any feedback.
Weird, the usual glitch is the Lunar Whale vanishing..... @Don Have you walked right across the ship, from side to side & end to end? Afraid I never heard of that problem before
@BruceCM
I just got past it. Apparently I have to press X when my character is over the ship at a specific spot. I could have sworn I did that before but tried it later and got past it. I appreciate your feedback.
Oh, cool, I didn't think of that, @Don ..... Thought it came up when you were supposed to but glad it's all sorted out now! Don't forget to get everyone's weapons in the bonus dungeon. Who are you planning for your final team, since you can choose in that version?
@BruceCM
I will go with Rosa, Porom, Rydia, and Kain. I originally was going to swap out Rudia for Palom because he is at a higher level but then decided to keep Rydia for her summon ability. Where do I buy the latest equipment for Porom? Her equipments are outdated by the time I was able to get her back.
She equips almost the same as Rosa .... I'm not sure I'd suggest having 2 white mages? There's the bonus dungeon with weapons & armour for everyone, along with quite a bit scattered throughout the final dungeon @Don
I'd recommend using either Rydia and Rosa, or Parom and Palom, they serve similar roles, but the twins benefit from being together due to their twincast ability.
Equip them with the Twin Stars, found in the bonus dungeon in the moon, and their twincast will be upgraded.
@BruceCM
I was considering more white mages mostly because the walkthrough says to have strong healer for the final boss. This will be my first time fighting the final boss so I figured maybe to have extra white mags in case both Rosa and Cecil use up their MPs or knocked out by strong attacks during the final battle.
@Don oh absolutely, having Rosa and Rydia is definitely better, after all, that is the intended group the game expects you to use (being able to customize your party with all the surviving characters is unique to the GBA/PSP version of the game).
But yes, by all means have fun and try out your options. That’s why they added that feature. However if you intent to use one twin, I do recommend using both, they have access to super powerful magic only when they’re together.
