After 4 days of agonizing pain from what I thought was a sprained tailbone, I discovered it was an infected hair follicle causing massive amounts of pus to build up and push nerves so it hurt to sit, lay down, walk, and anything aside from stand still.
and after draining said issue, I can finally move, use my computer, and watch tv - so yay!
It brings incredible satisfaction to finally select 1080p on a console's settings and have a picture show up on screen. After all these years....
Smash looks downright gorgeous.

I DIDNT KNOW R-TYPE III FOR THE SNES WAS WORTH ANYTHING! I BOUGHT IT FOR $7! As a retro guy and big SHMUP person I'm ashamed to not have realized this.
My manager gave me Christmas weekend off. Yes, that just happened. I'm off from the 24th to the 28th. I am about to scream right now.

I got together with a few coworkers from work today and we all played a 4 player couch co-op game of Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition. I had such a good time it reminded me of the days I use play alot of couch co-op with systems like the N64.

In the future, I want to hook my computer up to my TV, so I went ahead and ordered a DVI to HDMI cable on Amazon. Stupid me acted in haste and didn't realize that DVI only supports video (hence the name), and I wanted audio as well. Unfortunately, it already shipped. Out of curiosity, I started the refund process just to see how little money I would get back because of return shipping costs. I was then greeted with a message saying that my refund has been issued and I could keep the item. I didn't know Amazon did that! That was nice, and also unexpected. So, I got a free cable, that I will probably not use.
Of course, it didn't solve my issue, so I went ahead and ordered a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, after confirming that my computer supported video and audio through MDP. Should've done this all along, since the graphics card I have only has one DVI port, but it has two MDPs. All's well that ends well, I suppose!

It hasn't completely processed through my mind yet, but today, my sister and I made the decision, after three years of waiting, to make the nine hour trip (13 hours for me!) to Texas to go see the Zelda Symphony. We've been considering this ever since it started, but we finally decided that this was the year.
We got really good seats, too! I'm excited even though it hasn't fully clicked in my mind that this is actually happening. It's in June, so I'll realize it soon enough.

Got my new cat 3ds case today!
It's the most adorable thing! The polka dot skin I had on it was wearing out so I decided it was time to get something new.
There's something I've been feeling guilty about for years, and I finally told the truth about it to my friends. And they're all being very supportive. I'm actually tearing up right now. I don't think any of you are reading this, but if you are, I love you guys.
