Am I the only one who feels like Johto's design is a little "bland"?
Yes. Johto had fantastic designs. Heracross is cool and unique. Scizor is a real unique design especially considering it evolves from Scyther. Totodile is just the most bestest #1 water starter ever. Adorable original design and way more creative for a crocodile pokemon than Sandile.
Anyways GAME GRUMPS! Their Emerald play through is hilarious. Lotad nicknamed GeorgLopez is GOLD!

I meant the region itself. it's generic, it had no Viridian Forest, got rid of Safari Zone, and almost everything in Kanto (the general paths, not sceneries) remained almost intact.
The G2 Pokemon were well thought out and very well designed. I loved the Day/Night/Daily/Weekly events.
Oh, and to all those saying G3 didn't have clock-based mechanics; what do you think that clock your setting at the beginning of the game is used for?! In fact, Mirage tower and Mirage Island in the desert and near Pacifilog. That is all.
Ah, my bad. Well, there's a forest right outside of Azeal Town. Can't defend the lack of Safari Zone. That was disappointing. Guess I never really thought of it since the music in G/S was so good. I don't care how bland a town may look if it has tear inducing beautiful music like Azeal Town/Blackthorn City.

gen 3-i have no idea i love all 3 of them its to hard to choose if i had to choose i think blaziken its over all great stats but swampert learns the best moves sceptile is very fast
gen 4-infernape
gen 5-serpieror it dosnt look the best but its fast and it has a pretty good move set

I have a feeling it's just going to be the same people posting here for a while lol. I've been really into Pokemon lately. I'm not nearly in love with it as I have been this past summer.
