@Mickeymac, why did you use the original Japanese opening for Z instead of Funi's "Rock the Dragon"? I always thought that Funi's soundtrack for the series was a rare instance in the anime world in which the American soundtrack actually bests the original. Everyone I know feels the same way about Funi's music. We can't actually be in the minority, can we...?
Because that song was the bane of my childhood. It has the worst singing ever. If you can even call it singing. The Japanese one, on the otherhand, is sung by my favorite Japanese Performer, even if it's far from his best work. In fact, he wrote all the music in the original, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who prefers it - Hironobu Kageyama's called "Mr. DBZ" for a reason, after all.
I'd have to vote for DBZ. About it's music... It's latin american music was good (if a little senseless at times), though I have never heard the english versions. I may have to now.
Yeah, Mecha needs time to build. They're always at their best near the end. If you're not willing to give it the time it needs to get going, it's probably not for you.
I remember Gundam 00 took until they introduced the Throne Gundams for it to get interesting to me. That was 16 episodes in. A bit extreme even for Gundam. Really got going from there, though. I think one of the reasons people like Wing and Code Geass so much was that they got the ball rolling right away. That's not the way to do it, though, and the stories obviously suffer from it.
I vote for One Piece. I've seen enough of it to know that it is the true definition of an epic. Everything about it has been amazing with very few dips in quality. I haven't seen The Girl Who Leapt through time, but I doubt it's good enough to make me pick it over One Piece.

I did post 11. That's Share the World. And I almost posted 6, too, but I thought the animation in it was too boring.
One Piece easily. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is good but a tad overrated. Mainly because I remember the characters not being nearly interesting enough or fleshed out enough.
