In this thread we'll be choosing what we think is the best anime through popular vote, using a bracket. Right now we're doing nominations to decide what will go into the bracket. The updates of the Bracket will be in this very post as soon as the tournament begins. Rurouni Kenshin. Gets a little weak during season 3, but the first two are increadibly fun. This is one of the few anime's I don't get tired of.

Both are great, but Rurouni Kenshin can really make you feel attached to the charaters.

I nominated both, but I'll vote for Samurai 7, if only because I know Kenshin is going to run away with this one.

I've always been a bit torn on Samurai 7, though. On one hand, I think it's an excellent series worth watching for its character development, crazy action and unique setting. On the other hand, Seven Samurai is my favorite movie ever, so a part of me feels like Samurai 7 shouldn't exist.

I think I'll have to abstain from this one. Digimon Adventure tickles my nostalgia bone something fierce but I haven't really seen it or its sequel series since their first runs, and I only ever saw a handful of (undoubtedly bizarre) Bobobo episodes.
