I do come around many days, but you keep missing me. However, check the Wii Music thread, and you'll see that I responded to your request quite a long time ago. Note the timestamp! I get an email whenever that thread is updated, since I'm "watching" it (a feature which would also benefit you, I believe).

Well this is awkward...

I miss Lakitu 64. He wasn't around for very long, but during the time he was I got more than a few kicks outta his posts. And for those who didn't get to experience them, just click on the link in warioswoods' sig for a taste.

Not to be nosy, but what exactly made Lakitu get banned? I was on the site [without an account] when he was around, and he didn't seem that bad.

Jay is around. He posts on GFAQS forums too so I see him there all the time.

@percent: i'd guess it was because he posted a lot of random spammy nonsense topics and, because he didn't quite seem to understand English well, he'd get mad when he thought people were saying things that they actually weren't iirc. i dunno exactly, i wasn't a mod back then. :3

@Axoloth: I thought you knew the story behind 'her'? PinkLink was an account created by a banned user. Once the proof hit the fan, 'she' was taken out -- the admins frown quite strongly upon ban evasion. :3

Haha, I forgot about Lakitu64! It seemed like his posts were starting to make more sense there near the end, though, or maybe I'm just imagining things better than they were.

@Dragon and 110%: I knew she wasn't who she said she was, but I never did hear the full story, no. I did find it funny she/he/it was only around for a day, however, and I had assumed something like you said to be the case.

Another user I never see anymore is megaboomface2. Just disappeared off the face of the Earth (or this website that is).

He got banned. Like five times. Which is a good thing, as the dude had a weird crush on me.

Anyways, my previous lame joking aside, there are a few users I miss lots. Three-quaters of them left and the other one I know has real life stuff, so it's not a question of 'where did they all go?' but rather me just kinda sad they left.

The main one to me is Mr. Brutus, who was one of the main reasons I joined up here and stuck around. It's just kinda sad for me personally when I don't get to see '1 minute ago by Chicken Brutus' as often as I like. Ah well, I hope he's doing well and I wish him the best, and hopefully maybe he can come back around some more in the future.

The other three - Lakitu 64, Bahamut ZERO, and clicketyclick - were three people I really enjoyed reading for the brief times I did get to read them. I wish they hadn't left, but I understand that this place isn't for everyone. I do kind of wonder what exactly happend to Bahamut, though, as I thought he was gonna stay on and post in the news and reviews and such. Oh well.

It's a sad taste, sometimes, nostalgia.

I've noticed that a lot of members from back in the VC-Reviews days pretty much abandoned ship as soon as the site merged with Nintendo Life. Jogurt, Firebrand, Rexy, Virus, Manicfatty, and so many others were only around to comment on the merger thread, and then disappeared completely. A shame too. A lot of them had some very interesting insight.

Some NLifers I haven't seen much anymore were The Chicken, Wiiloveit, BAHAMUT ZERO, and some others I can't remember off the top of my head. I have a feeling Wiiloveit left when he saw no one shared his undying love for BPlus.

Dwarfer, The Crow, BMF-JOE and Calculon haven't been around at all lately either, but to them I say good riddance. Calculon's endless hating on Wiiware really got on my nerves, and the latter 3 were just trolls.

Basically the same story as pinklink.

I seriously wish Party On Dude/The Crow was never banned. I wanted to see his reaction whenever we got Super Smash Bros in NA.

The essay he would write regarding it would be so long and have so many smiley faces, he'd probably break the server.
