Topic: NintendoLife in Shantae Credits

So I finished Shantae: Risky's Revenge on the weekend, and spotted NintendoLife (among other gaming websites) in the credits! Was a bit of a surprise, has anyone else noticed it? (Or in any other games?)

Is there a particular reason NL got a shout out from WayForward?

Because NintendoLife is probably the biggest supporter of Shantae out there.

And rightfully so. I've only played the iPad game, but Shantae is incredible.

True. We've already had 3-4 news posts reminding us that Shantae is coming to the VC. That's some support they have there.

Yeah it (well, Risky's Revenge at least, I haven't played the original) is one of those games that you recognise as being great as soon as you pick it up. The animation, music, controls - everything just works so well. I found myself wanting to get home from work just to play it, which hasn't happened for a long time.

Seeing NL in the credits was a nice little bonus to top it off!

NL (or at least Corbie) has gotten into quite of few indie game credits; I know they're in Cave Story (DSiWare), VVVVVV (eShop) and Mutant Mudds credits too.

Corbie appeared in Bomb Monkey too.
