Well, I read Kurt Vonnegut's Breakfast of Champions a couple of weeks ago, I've started re-reading the Harry Potter series for the 80th time (approx.), and I've been reading the Sherlock Holmes novels and short stories off-and-on for the past couple of months.
@thesignpainter I read the first one, which was decent but nothing compared to the movie. I stomached the first fifty pages of the second one, then vowed to never read a book by Suzanne Collins again. ok, it wasn't that bad... but it was
The last thing I read was The Moon is Down by John Steinbeck for the second time, this time for school.
I started reading Heart of Darkness, which should be good if I can actually manage to get through it.
Also, everyone read The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier (if you can handle a not-that-gritty but still very dark and mature novel), then proceed to read everything else by the man.
I just finished reading "And Another Thing ..." by Eoin Colfer — the sixth installment of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy, which was officially authorized/sanctioned/whatevered by Douglas Adams' estate. Good book, a worthy addition to the franchise.
And just started Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi: Apocalpyse (the final book in the Fate of the Jedi series).
