"In the year of 20XX, a fan made rpg named Tales of Madness was created. Link977 and Emeralds created ToM to stop the evil desires of LordJumpmad. However after his defeat, LordJumpmad is back to counter all who opposed him." What is This? Madness Man is basically a sequel to the original fan made game, Tales of Madness, done in the style of a Megaman game in Celebration for Megaman's 25th Anniversary. Think of this as your Christmas present from your fellow NL users. As for the premise of the game, You will play as our very own self proclaimed benevolent NL Dictator, @LordJumpmad in his quest to defeat @theblackdragon and the eight robot masters in the name of vengeance. Yes, all the characters are robots don't ask me why... What to Expect? Madness Man will be an 8Bit Run'n Gun platformer that will have nine stages total(Eight Robot master stages and one Fortress stage). It will take cues from the first two Megaman games with some inspiration from future series meaning that you can only Jump and shoot. Note that this game will be Made with GameMaker Lite. DO NOT expect this game to have complex level designs. DO NOT expect that this game will have the same level of quality from the Classic Megaman Titles. This game is currently planned by one person with help from @Emeralds @LordJumpmad and a few select. What you can expect is a fun little game that is filled with references from NintendoLife's Forums and related media. Think of it as a simple joke game that takes cues from Megaman made with YOU, the NL users, in mind. As of now, I am still in the process of doing the game's skin(aka the artwork and sprites) Can I Help? So you want to take part in making this game you say.... I'll have to say this: I can take your user inputs just as long as it doesn't complicate the game making process. You can post messages like "Why not put (NL Reference A) at the background of X's stage?" As for asking if you could be one of the Robot masters and bosses, no sorry, I have already finalized the lineup. I am planning to do a poll in determining which of you users will be put into the game, but that is for a later time, SO DONT ASK IF YOU CAN BE IN THE GAME JUST YET Well, that's all I can give for today, I will be posting the Robot Master Lineup at a daily basis in the following days, so watch out for those you will be fighting for.
