Hello everypony! This weekend, I was at Summer BronyCon 2012!
This was my badge, all decorated with my game's logo, the Sylver's Edge logo and my OC pony!
I was there to promote my game, "Pinkie Pie's Perilous Platforms!", and also to meet friends and so on.
It was a very fun experience that had me see thousands of bronies, and also well-known ones like Mic the Microphone, DustyKatt (aka The Manliest Brony in the World), Rina-chan (from the PONY.MOV series), Bree Faith (from the Epic Pony Time videos), Omnipony, JackleApp, The Living Tombstone, John Joseco, PixelKitties, Sherclop Pones (creators of "Friendship is Witchcraft") and many, many, many more!

Of course, the special guests of honor were a sight to see! Cathy Weseluck, Peter New, Lee Tockar, Andrea Libman, Nicole Oliver, Tara Strong, John de Lancie, Lauren Faust and many more were there to soak up the energy radiating from all of us bronies. While we were all there, filming was being done for BronyCon: The Documentary! I was hanging around John Joseco's table when the crew asked me why I loved his work! I was able to say something (mostly about how I loved Gamer Luna) and hopefully my bit can be in the film!
Of course, the cosplay scene was impressive as I saw many good costumes! Here's a sample - a Big Macintosh cosplayer who even bought a bottle of Sweet Apple Cider straight from the Sweet Apple Acres farm!
The panels were awesome! The one I was anticipating the most were Lauren Faust's panel, the Pony Game Developers panel and the Brony Study panel.
I also got a pair of Twilightlicious sunglasses! Wait for it...
....signed by the Twilightlicious queen herself, Tara Strong!
But of course, you all heard about it... the great BronyCon fire. Well... mild at best, but still enough to haul all of our flanks out the building! Here's another picture of us - outside!
I was supposed to be at the Writing is Magic panel in the Mane Hall where the fire started but was busy roaming the Artist's Alley with friends. Lucky break, I guess?
While everything cleared up, schedule reset and life continued on until it all ended with a nice bang. Lots of thanks, applause, standing ovations and memories to carry with us on the way back home.

It was a fantastic con to be at, and one of the best experiences of my life (and probably career, now that I think about it). Seeing all these bronies together in happiness made me understand why BronyCon even exists today.
I got to shake hands (and brohoof) the founder of BronyCon, Purple Tinker.
In the end, it was just simply amazing.

@Sylverstone Any word that I can say can not begin to describe how awesome that must have been. Glad you could meet all those great people and attend such an event. Also that pass of yours looks pretty nice. I'll be sure to look at those photos you took and the videos as well. At least someone from this site was able to attend. I look forward to your game as well. Nice looking title screen as well.
@TwilightPoint So awesome to see your new stuff there. I especially like Filly Dash. oh, and ha ha ha.
@WiiWareWave Alright, though I suggest you try watching it. The show is quite fun if given the chance. Also look forward to what you have in store.

All of this Bronycon stuff happening makes me want to go next year. I'll have to add that to my bucket list.
