My feelings on a finale to the series...

For the time being, I'm not worrying about it. This series has given the My Little Pony brand a new lease on life, especially after the atrocities that were the G3 and G3.5 ponies. It's bringing in all kinds of money and attention to not only the brand, but also Hasbro as a whole. Since its done with flash, it is very inexpensive to create as well. It is the time, care, and attention that makes it look superb.

Syndication is a tricky thing, but not without loopholes. Simpsons, Transformers, DBZ, all the Yu-Gi-Ohs, and the like keep hundreds of episodes in syndication with relative ease and, for a low maintenance show like MLP:FIM, this is a good thing as there'll be far less royalties to hand out from them.

As for prospects of the length of the series... I'm going to use Teen Titans as a benchmark and hope it'll go beyond 5 seasons. The writers of this show are nobody's fools and they know how to write a series, keeping it fresh and new. I strongly believe that Season 2 is shaping up to be far better than Season 1 in the long run and I have high (not impossible) expectations for Season 3. 13 episodes, 26 episodes, 30 episodes, fine. I'm inclined to believe that they'll keep the status quo at 26 for the next season, but wouldn't be surprised if they change things up with format. Multiple story lines, new characters. etc. Just as this season expanded the friendship report, next season could make a subtle change that could speak volumes.

The series is still booming with popularity, so thoughts of it coming to an end NOW of any time are extremely premature thoughts. After all, there's many lessons on friendship, many story opportunities, and hey, we still have three Cutie Mark Crusaders who need their cutie marks.

So, see you all in Season 3, Season 4, Season 5, crosses fingers Season 6, Season 7, looks to My Little Dashie and Season 8. ^_^

As we seen to get some kind of continuity, Gilda and Trixie should return. In seperate or in the same episode, for revenge or to say sorry, i don't care.

Tell me what do you think. It is my first attempt at making a background for my ponies. It took me about a week to complete this, the actual vectoring took two days, and a lot less memory than usual! (I can't imagine this being more than 6GiB in size, like when i haven't got a technique...)

Also, how about a little game? Can you guess the next character i'm vectoring? It's *******!

@AlbertoC That looks great. I like the background you gave it, makes me feel like I'm drifting in the clouds. Fluttershy looks great but her body looks a little large. (maybe it's just me.) overall great pic.

Hmm, it would appear so, @CorporalPegasus... I just double checked my original post, and it would appear so. Regardless, this gives me a week to catch up on all things Aquabats related. Who else is excited for the Aquabats Supershow? It looks awesome, plus, the MEGA64 guys are going to do some work on it, providing various fake commercials through out the show.
