Anyways, not only do those townsfolk have the same creepy smile, but they also have the same cutie mark (pegasi even fly a banner with that mark on it). What's up with that?
So, yeah, we've gotten a couple of nifty trailers. All good stuff if you ask me! Rumor is that the 100th episode will be Cutie Mark Magic, but considering the premiere topics, it seems like /that/ will be Cutie Mark Magic. Anyone have any other thoughts?
@MasterGraveheart I think the whole season (or at least many episodes) will be related to the cutie marks, what they do, and how they work. Also it seems there will be a lot of world building this time.

[On fimfiction Adventure Incomplete Teen]
Sunset Shimmer is on the run. It's been six months since she left her life as Princess Celestia's student behind, but she can't escape her own past. Her parents are offering a reward for her safe return home, and Celestia's agents are watching her every step. She might have gotten out of Canterlot, but the runaway student is still a long way from freedom. Especially since her education with the Princess of Equestria didn’t cover things like how to make a living wage with her magical skills. She escapes to the infamous island nation of Freeport has long had a reputation as a haven for pirates, criminals, and exiles. The only question is whether Sunset will live long enough to pull it off.
We have another Sunset Shimmer’s story. This time she is attempting to escape the Equestrian Intelligence Service, bounty hunters hired from her family and spies. Fighting pirates and golems in a corrupted island, to prove Celestia that she deserves a chance to ascend as an alicorn and rule Equestria.
The author is quite dense with the world building descriptions, to give the necessary context to understand the events of the story, but this doesn’t affect the action scenes.

@Twilight_Crow You probably get this a lot but I just wanted to tell you I'm impressed you've kept this up for so long. I don't think I can stick with doing ANYTHING on a consistant basis like that. Even if I don't forget or lose interest, things would probably come up that would interfere. So kudos.

"It sits high above us, watching and waiting. What is this monster, and what is to be the fate of Equestria?"
A very interesting experiment on how to portray war, in many different levels, from Griffins vs. Ponies, to Humans vs. Humans; how it all relates, and how it affects people. The universe built for the humans from space is quite extensive and well done, just good sci-fy right there. The OCs are interesting and make me think they exist in their own universe, written by this author before pony.
Characterization could be better, there are times it is spot on, and sometimes it feels loose, and maybe a bit forced. As the experiment it is, the story telling is a bit clunky, with big time jumps and weird point of view changes. Still, it has a lot of good points, and it tries to do something different, so I recommend it.
Decent writing.

Celestia is the greatest villain of them all. She has Equstria, 3 other alicorns at her beck and call, can gain control over other villains and has been in charge for over 1000 years.
