Topic: Most Annoying Video Game Helper

This. I didn't particularly mind the guy and he had some funny moments, but the boob jokes got old quickly.

"helpful" advice like "press A to open a door" and "walk up to a ladder to climb it"? Seriously, you'd have to be a moron not to figure that out without a half-page description. I've never understood how people can think anything Navi says is more than self-explanatory.

Navi, she's to Ocarina of Time what the paperclip dude is to Microsoft Word but at least she's useful.

Slippy, Navi (who is somewhat helpful, but not as good as the Internet at helping you), Chip (oh god... horrendous voice acting), and Tingle. (He counts because he sells you maps, therefore helping you.)

I didn't mind Omochao. He/She/It was actually useful in a few places, but the voice acting was kinda crappy.

Pretty much every video game helper is annoying.

Midna's is very strange.(So is her voice!!)
But Navi is so annoying.

Telly Vision from Chibi-Robo, he really gets on my nerves so much, I have to mute the TV just to get some peace and quiet in the beginning of the game (he talks a LOT in the beginning)

I seriously thought that some music video thing was gonna start from this thing. xD

• The text in Photo Dojo when creating a character. "Don't fall over!" No sh*t.
• Toad in Super Mario 64. Only 3 of them served a purpose.
• Grand-Pac in Pac-Man World 2. I honestly don't see a point to him existing.
• That character that I can't remember the name of who whispers hints to you in Rayman 2. His whispering pierces my ears.
• The Chef in Personal Trainer: Cooking. Something about the way he talks rubs me the wrong way.
• No one in the original Legend of Zelda. What annoys me is that there isn't even one in the first place! That's one of the few Zelda games you really do need a helper on.

Oddly, I don't really find any of the "unanimous" annoying characters like Navi or Slippy really that annoying.
