I just finished playing through Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and although the game wasn’t perfect the battle system and blades were a definite high point. I couldn’t help but think of what it would be like if the pool of blades was expanded to include Atlus’s Catalog of Demons, Mythological beings, Persona’s etcetera and how much better the game would be. Let alone if the characters and story were influenced by Atlus’s distinct JRPG style.
Any thoughts as to what an ideal crossover would be between these two companies?
Haha I had a feeling someone would bring up that bushel of false hopes. It feels like neither company really cared much about Tokyo Mirage Sessions. Although in all fairness, plot and dungeons aside it’s a pretty good game.
I was really hoping for an epic adventure of fantasy heroes batting demons in order to reach a variety of branching paths, slowly uncovering a delightful way that the two worlds tied together ultimately reaching Chaos, Order Neutral ending etcetera @mariomaster96

I'm sure they didn't care about the game they spent more than 3 years making. :V
It's more accurate to say that Nintendo didn't care about it by the time it came out, because they realized marketing for Wii U in 2016 was wasted money.
