@CM/SM/Whoever: Yes, but did you know that the beans in the same game are the exact same ones used in the SNES game Kirby's Avalanche? May not be that mind-blowing, buy I think it's weird how they're essentially the exact same game with different characters, and it was made in the time when Sega and Nintendo were the two main competitors.
I'm pretty sure I think I'm funnier than I really am. 10 Years of Kingdom Hearts 3DS Friend Code: 0301-9785-9580 [url=http://www.youtube.com/user/NeoStormGaming]Watch me and my friends play games! Now with better visual qualit...
@SilverBlacktail Mean Bean Machine and Kirby's Avalanche are both rebrandings of the game Puyo Puyo for market outside of Japan. Instead of keeping the original game's anime characters they apparently thought it would be a good idea to use popular characters associated with their respective consoles' brand.
In the coding for Yoshi's Island, a tree and a mushroom transformation are found:
When I was little, I remember playing as a mushroom. My mom told me I was so cute with my Yoshi's Island, sitting in front of the television, watching static for hours.
Back in Pokémon Red and Blue, Lickitung, the Licking Pokémon, with an absurdly long tongue and an obsession with licking things, could not learn Lick.
Also in Red and Blue, the Abra family's supposed signature move, Kinesis, couldn't be learnt by anything. The only time you could see it is if Metronome randomly chose it.
Oh yeah, Psychics were hilariously overpowered in Red and Blue. They were supposed to be weak to Ghost-type moves, but an oversight in the programming made them take normal damage. They were however weak to Bug... which limited your options to Twineedle or Leech Life, both quite pathetically weak, and the former (and stronger of the two) used exclusively by Beedrill, a part-Poison type, which Psychics have type advantage over. If you followed the game's advice and went for a Ghost type, you'd get a double-whammy - first because of the Ghost error, second because the only Ghosts in the game were, infact, weak to Psychic (what with also being Poison type and all). This is why everyone hates Sabrina, and that teleporter maze gym didn't help things...

That is why I absolutely loved my Alakazam and HATED Sabrina.
Toot Toot Sonic Warrior and Green Hills Zone (from the Master System version of Sonic 2) are the exact same song!
Oh and Pulseman's first level and the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Rival Theme are also the same song.
About that Psychic type fact, if you faced someone with the Silver version of Pokemon, Bite actually works on Psychic types...even when "Dark" moves are absent from the older games...try it out next time and see how effective bite is when playing a 2nd Gen Trainer against a 1st gen one.
This isn't much of a game fact actually every Nintendo fan should know this but the reason Mario has a mustache is because Shigeru Miyamoto couldn't animate a mouth.
It's a puffball with wings and a snout. Come on GameFreak, if you're going to be unimaginative, at least base your Pokémon on something that actually exi-

Same reason he has a hat. When Mario was first created, they couldn't animate hair yet, so it was easier to give him his hat.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Tim Heidecker of Tim & Eric used to work for the ESRB, so in some old commercials you can hear him say the rating at the beginning. Not that mind asploding, but that's what I got.
