Topic: Metroid Series (Walkthrough Forum)

I thought it would be really cool to start a forum where people can post hints, tricks, walkthroughs, or anything about games in the Metroid series. It could be a great forum for people to ask where to get a power up, how to beat or even get to a boss, or where to go where you are stuck in any of the games. Of course people get stuck in other video games as well, but I made this forum to specifically focus on the Metroid games. Maybe others could make similar forums for other series. I just beat Super Metroid and I'm about to start playing the original Metroid for NES for the first time in years. And I remember how cryptic and confusing not only this game, but the whole series can be.

Yeah, the original Metroid is as cryptic as it gets, lol.

I got through Fusion, Super, & Return of Samus on my own power, but I quickly had to resort to a walkthrough in order to advance in the original.

Here's a Metroid tip. Avoid Other M at all costs!!!

The only thing wrong with Other M are unrealistic fans who expected Samus to be an unflappable superbeast with the personality of cardboard and no character flaws.

The original Metroid wasn't really cryptic so much as it was completely and utterly devoid of the hand-holding that permeates today's games. Of course, if you find yourself stuck, just Justin Bailey it.
