@Barbiegurl777 - Very cool! That battery pack looks good in white given the overall design. I think I saw that exact product for sale. Did you end up making new buttons? I’m guessing no as those look like originals or original replacement parts. It’s a cool little machine. Love how chunky they are. Have you been enjoying it?
I want to make new buttons but hesitant trying resin right away. Got to figure it out to a t first lol~ 🤣 Yes those are original replacement buttons. Honestly I wish some one was selling the button's from the disney princess leapster 2 mainly because there pink & pink is my favorite color. Also thought of maybe spray painting the buttons different colors but got to buy spray paint first~ 😂😂😂🤣 Yes so far I really like it. Enjoying Pet Pals as first game to really play on it. Pet Pals reminds me of Nintendo dogs 3ds. I never played the ds version of Nintendo dogs only 3ds version. Pet Pals seems like the GBA / precursor to Nintendo dogs ds~ 🤣 I wish I would have known / payed attention to leapfrog when this stuff was coming out back then feel like I found a secret hidden handheld~ 🤣 I like gaming to much lol~ 🤣 I'm getting more leapster games next week~ 🤣
@Barbiegurl777 - I’ve always wanted to play NintenDogs, I’ve just never had the appropriate hardware. I’ve been hoping for a new game in the series on Switch. I had such trouble with the LeapReader pens that I wish I had invested in a Leapster instead, though I think the pens really helped my daughter begin reading; among other things.
We had good luck with the 3D LeapStart until my son inexplicably chewed through the wire connecting the pen to the book. Why??? They got Lites this year though, so they’ve abandoned all other electronics during screen time. Maybe some day you can build a fully customized FrankenLeapster!
I know what your saying. Two of the stylus I got literally looked a dog chewed on them over & over again. Either that or it was a little kid. I saw the pens before you touch a word in the book & it reads each word I think. What got me into reading in high school year's ago was the Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen Adventure book series, I also read there Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen Sweet 16 book series too. I might just do that on the FrankenLeapster actually debated customizing my original GBA years ago but never got around to it. What's kind of funny I put my original GBA next to the leapster 2. My gosh the leapster 2 is so chunky compared the original GBA~ 🤣

There is already some Nintendogs style games on Switch despite they are 3rd party games.
Let's say Little Friends: Dogs & Cats, My Universe: Puppies & Kittens.
