It depends on how often they are used but all my snes saves are gone. All the high scores and such on super starwars (a new hope, empire, and return of the jedi) are gone forever.

That's adorable. I don't think I have any good stories about childhood video-game tantrums, though. Just ones that end in me losing a bunch of friends.

@SuperSonic: where are you at in OoT? that's another game i played the heck out of when it came out, lol. much love for OoT (even though I've never been too happy with the ending, but that's beside the point )
@jangonov: nooooooooooooooooooooooooo... that sucks. ah well. i just have to get the Attack Scarf again in my VC savefile and I'll be on par with what I had on the cartridge, I guess... never did get the Super Suit.
@Chicken Brutus: ha, it was easy for me, because i had no friends that lived near me at the time.

but that's not the case now! Mallow just called, he said he's sick of being treated like a happy ball of fluff, so we're gonna get together and rectify that with a manly movie night. We're ordering pizza, gonna watch some bad Stallone flicks (Judge Dredd, Demolition Man... they're so bad they're good!), and we're also gonna drink beer and crush the cans against our foreheads. i don't know how well that's gonna work, with him being a cloud and all, but i guess we'll figure it out once we come to it.

I had to wait over a decade before SMRPG was released in Europe.

I was captivated by the 3D renderings in Nintendo magazines.

Whilst we're talking about anecdotes, when I was a kid I saw a Game & Watch on sale at a car boot sale for 50p (read cents). I had already spent my pocket money for that week (sweets or something) and I asked my mum to lend me some to buy it. She didn't and I think it's worth a fair bit more now...

@Adam: Hey, man, Judge Dredd has a solid 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. I thought Demolition Man would've been rated about as bad, but it's sitting at 65%. That's more than Mamma Mia!'s 53%... ouch, lol.

@CowLaunch: dang, you ain't kidding. even in crappy condition, those things go for a bit more than 50p (what is that, 75 cents? a buck? i know nothing of British moneys o_O;;;; ) nowadays. D:

@tbd we're having a great time here me and Iwata, he could work as a professional makeup-artist any-day. We watched abba together and had a couple of laughs. You know one billion records sold and the record-byers can't be wrong right? Btw weird al yankovic called Iwata and since i am trilingual i had to translate. It seems like the haircut you borrowed from Al is way overdue and he wanted it back + interest whatever that means...

Back then it was probably about a dollar, now I think the currencies are nearer parity, not an expert though.

I only have a few dungeons left. They are the Shadow Temple,the Spirit Temple,the Gerudo Traning Grounds[I want those ice arrows],and Ganon's Tower. But trying to rescue those carpenters from Gerudo's Fortress might be a little more difficult than I thought. I have rescued 2 and I have 2 more to go. I'm not used to stealth in a Zelda game,but I'll get through it soon.

I'll more then likely start playing Oot again sometime tonight. It is an awesome game,maybe one of the best games I have ever played. Thanks to this game,I'm now a Zelda fan
I can't believe I dislike Zelda until recently. Maybe it was the fact that when Oot came out when I was 7,I sucked at puzzles then.
I have all VC Zelda games and I plan on trying the rest when I complete Oot. But I don't know if I'll like the 2D Zeldas or not. I have completed 2 Zelda games years ago,which are Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.
I don't know why you dislike the ending. But I'll complete Oot first and watch the ending before I ask you why. I'll keep everybody updated on my progress through my signature.

Iwata stopped by the house yesterday and confessed that he is the one changing my profile name to "weirdadam." He said he won't change it back until I buy all the NPC titles. Fortunately we were able to reach a compromise: Instead, I'm going to start pretending to like the It's Your Birthday game and encourage other users to buy more WiiWare games.

I will say, however, that I clicked "report" for the first post by Esposch before it was ever edited or replied to, because it seemed like the best way to try to avoid a massive flame war. I apologize if this was in error, but it was all I could think of to do without replying to his post, which would probably have been like a tank of gas on that fire.
