i really want to buy a neo-geo and most people on ebay only use PayPal
and i want to get PayPal but everyone thinks that it's just as bad as using a credit card but i say it isn't but they won't believe me

so does anybody here use PayPal?
please tell me if you do because i really want to get a neo-geo and play garou

PayPal is legit. And you can set it up to only debit a funded account, which will keep you honest.

If you want to sell something, they charge a lot of fees.

PayPal has had the same fee structure for a long time. I believe you're confusing it with eBay's fees, which are ever on the rise.

On topic, I've been using PayPal since 2003 and it is incredibly useful and plenty safe.

I've used PayPal for years for buying stuff (mainly eBay), and never had any issues whatsoever. I won't even look at something on eBay if they don't take PayPal.

Selling stuff on Ebay and having Ebay/Paypal both charge you for the transaction really blows, but I very much prefer using PayPal to spreading my credit card number all over the place.

I have a low-limit credit card that I use for internet purchases. PayPal is legit though, as has been mentioned.

Can't you use an Ebay gift card like you can get at Walmart and places like that for Paypal in lieu of a credit card or bank account?
