I didn't really like Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword. The Wii mote was just more of a problem then an enhancement, IMO. Tp had better controls, but SS had better visuals and a stronger story. TP had a boring Hyrule Field, but SS had to much backtracking and was to linear. This is just my opinion though. I still see why people like them, but they both come about even for me, and I consider them lower then the other 3D Zeldas.
I actually really liked TP's controls. Honestly I thought they were bizarrely replaceable, as in they mostly didn't help nor hurt it. Maybe fitting considering it was technically a port. But of course GCN controls >>>> most things so fair enough (never played GCN version).
I do actually agree with this choice a lot. I consider this the game that brought back Mario as THE gaming franchise, when Zelda had been considered more important for gamers since OOT tbh. Sadly Nintendo has essentially killed that, even just going off their own IPs alone.
No offence to mario galaxy lovers (including myself), but this was was terrible list. One of the worst I've seen. But Portal 2 absolutely deserves the #2 spot.

Why because of the inclusions? Or because of their placement? If it's the former, explain. The latter, you're doing it wrong.

The placement was just bad. The games included were the best ones, yes, but the order was just...., for lack of a better word, wrong. Super Mario Galaxy was incredible, but, when you look at the rest of the list, it becomes less and less of an achievement.
Eurogamer also gave Galaxy top nods as the game of the last generation......really, it's an incredibly polished experience, and given that last gen was dominated by military shooters and third person action titles, the Galaxy series sticks out even more.
Dunno which one is better though, I like the overworld and story / presentation of the first title more, but I thought Galaxy 2 had superior level design.

It's wrong because it doesn't fit your opinion. But it's not your opinion, it's theirs. A list like this should be appreciated for what's included, not where they're placed.
