Topic: How to stream to twitch from new ds xl

Hi everyone.

I've been watching a lot of twitch lately and wondered if any of you stream to twitch from your ds? What set up do you have? What software do you use to set up a cool looking interface for your viewers to watch?

I don't stream personally, but if you wanted to, you'd need a lot of equipment, and modding (to make the system compatible). It can cost around $400, for the base modification!

You need to install a capture card into your nintendo 3ds. Like above said, it is very expensive, and there is no particular retailer other than online modders you can buy preinstalled systems or the equipt for installation from.

Then alongside getting the capture card.. there is of course additional equiptment like a decent gaming PC, microphone, I think a twitch contract, etc. Of course it all pays for itself if you get subs and donations but otherwise it's a pretty big investment. You CAN try to stream without a capture card with a really good camera.. but it won't be as clear and your 3ds would uncomfortably be motionless in one spot.
