People keep saying that it is bad to stay playing videogames. But the way I see it, it is alot better than getting stuck in the wrong crowd.

I don't know, really. I'm planning on being a part-time indie game developer in/after college. I enjoy making games just as much as playing them.

As long as they're worthwhile, which I don't see ever happening. They might get further watered down, like every other form of media ever, but there will still be gold in it.

Lol, what's with all the FFX references all of a sudden? (Besides that its one of the best RPGs ever...!)

I will continue playing as long as hardcore titles still exist. If the gaming industry ends up fully turning casual, then I have no reason to buy games.

Don't let my location fool you. I'm Québécois, not Canadian.

I think I'll freeze myself until we finally perfect the holodeck.

as long as I can, as long as it still appeals to me, If my life changes in the future so I have time to play games less (an example could be if I have a family) I still hope to have to for this hobby at times.

As long as I find them fun I'll keep on playing -- that doesn't mean the Wii couldn't be my last console, though...

Forever.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.

I don't know when I'll die so...I don't know.

I'll be on my deathbed and nurses will be taking away my controller and I'll just scream: "I'm begging you, let me play!"

I've thought about this a fair bit, and I was worried that as I grew older I would get less interested in games. That's never happened though. This quote springs to mind:

If you can keep your head, while all about you others are losing theirs, then you will be a man my son

Just replace the "losing heads" part with "losing interest in video-games". Anyway, I suppose it will have to be when my eyesight gets so bad I can't see the screen in front of me. Who knows what life will throw at me next, I guess I'll just find out...

Strange...... When I was 9 yrs. old, some man told me something like that at my grandfather's funeral. He didn't play video games though. lol
