As in the title, I'm curious if you organize your games in a way other than the standard alphabetical order on your shelves? For example, I sorted my PS4 and Vita collections by color, which looks very aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. In the case of the Switch, however, the case of a variety of spines is.... well... boring.
I have temporarily sorted my Switch games by genre and series - Visual Novel, JRPG, Western RPG, Nintendo Games, Other/action games (?). I'm curious to know what it looks like for you guys and if you have any other interesting ideas?
I'll let you know in... about 12 years I reckon when I finally get round to doing it properly.
Mine are currently in a very loosely described chronological order of when I bought them, but on a number of different shelves etc. amongst other things.
I lost count a long time ago and attempts to index them all have only been half-hearted so far, so there's a long way to go (essentially starting over, I suspect).
But I don't buy my games to organise or display them. I buy them to have them when I want them and to play them. If I want to play a game enough I'll find it, and the search is always an interesting exercise in itself.
Whenever I do get round to doing it, I suspect I shall just do it in alphabetical order, but grouping series together under a single name I decide fits that series best.
Sadly, alphabetical and by system is the best I can do with my limited space. I would ideally like to take certain series and make some shrines with them and merchandise. Heck, I would definitely love to do it with the Zelda Games I have, maybe make a Majora shrine.
At present however, most of my games are on an Ikea bookcase double stacked; which is a pain to move around when trying to get to a certain game. My switch games thankfully are not double stacked since the cases are thinner than 3DS cases. I have thought about doing it by publisher so that Atlus games are together and so, but I don't think I would get on well with it in practice.
Chronological order of developers founding, with the year multiplied by the number that the first letter of the first word of the title of the game corresponds to (plus the numbers for any subsequent words in the title). On occasions when the numbers match up, I generally put those by the name of the colour of the title on the front cover in reverse alphabetical order. If with all that, the offending titles are still tied, they are ordered in normal alphabetical order by genre.

Kelpies. Be they hound or horse? I'd rather smell wet dog than be drowned by a horse.
Currently Playing on Switch: Chaos Head Noah, PARANORMASIGHT, Mega Man Series.

I just arrange my Switch games in my shelf, in alphabetical order. Also, for physical games that I'm currently playing (in my case, Super Mario Bros. Wonder), I like having the front cover on display.
