Topic: Have you been insulted for being a Nintendo Fan?

Nope, besides I was more of a Sega fan as a kid.

No because anybody who goes against Nintendo as being stupid or kiddy doe not only have no brain and ignorant.

Once in school I told a SNES fan his best friend was Mario, I got the retort back that mine was 'Altered Beast' (hmm, not the obvious choice - but I digress).

Yep, fanboyism was going strong in the early 1990s but it was Sega Vs. Nintendo.

I didn't realise - by trying to diss Mario, I was actually missing out on some top games, which I later came to realise with a little more maturity... So, moral of the story - if someone insults you as a 'Nintendo fan' don't worry about it, as is their loss for not even trying the games.

I Play what I play because I like to play them. Not because I'm told to play by others I play for me. (In Other Words meaning) if you like 360 fine if you like ps3 fine if you hate the wii well guess what thats fine too but you'll never make me step over the line of Nintendo no matter what not even sonic HD will do that .

Well, a friend called me a Nintendite a couple months ago...but not in a REALLY mean way...semi-kidding, y'know. He's a big Sony fan. Anyway...outside of that, I'm not really sure I've been personally insulted for being a Nintendo fan. Though when people argue against Nintendo to me, it's just about as bad, because whether stated or implied, the thought seems to be that "fan of Nintendo=no taste in games." I don't care if they insult me anyway, because I know the games are awesome. I try to convince them of that, but it never works. Oh, well...their loss.

Oh yeah, and that Sony fan? He DOES like SOME Nintendo stuff and plans to get a Wii eventually for the upcoming exclusive Zelda title. He went for Twilight Princess on Gamecube, but that kind of won't work with the next game.
