@Zuljaras
Have you tried the RE Requiem PCVR Mod(By Praydog) yet by any chance? I'm crossing my fingers it will be able to run decently on Steam Machine with Steam Frame. As long as it supports Eye Tracking + Dynamic Foveated Rendering which is essentially boosts performance(Resolution, frame rate etc) by 30-50%.

And ya, I'm not a big fan of the cable either. But i sit down most of the time for VR, and it just trails behind my neck. it is a barrier that kind of tarnishes the immersion from making you feel fully free in VR. But don't worry, PSVR2 will be the LAST Consumer/console VR headset to use a cable.

Steam Frame is the new standard and template to best with it's wireless 6ghz dongle to Console connectivity, which has nearly indistingushible image compression to that of a wired headset, and low latency.

And according to Google AI, your 4060 is pretty much evenly matched with a base PS5. Problem is, is that are very few PCVR titles that make use of ET & DFR, which is an absolute must but unfortunately your Quest 3 doesn't have eye tracking.

I'd keep the Quest 3 for it's Mixed Reality related stuff, and exclusive apps, and buy a Steam Frame for your PC. Then you'll get ET + DFR/Streaming, much less image compression, lower latency, greater three dimensionality due to the higher stereo overlap(Quest 3's is only 70%, PSVR2's is 85% and Steam Frame's is 90%), it's 75g lighter than quest 3, much more comfortable, and the weight distribution is evenly balanced from front to back, it has sharper edge to edge clarity and there's even a setting that will be coming out in the future that reinforces sterescopic 3D into every flat Steam game you throw at it.

I just wish SF had a micro-OLED, but that's a pretty penny(Valve said they scrapped Pancake + OLED due to the brightness loss & high cost), and i was hoping for the SM to be at least as powerful as a PS5 or in between a PS5 & PS5 Pro. I mean really, lets just say the PSVR3 for PS6 happens before 2030. The Steam Frame is going to eat dust. PS6 is rumoured to have 3x the power of a base PS5 + PSSR3(which blows SM out of the water), and we all know good and well the PSVR3 will build apon and best the Steam Frame both in terms of form factor and specs by the time it comes out, combined with fantastic exclusvie VR titles, aka 'NEW' AAA content, which the SF simply doesn't provide. Steam Frame is just a place holder in my eyes.

@WaveBoy I have not. Too little time to try everything and the backlog is growing bigger and bigger. I am afraid I have to find a way to come back after I die just to have a chance at the backlog
