You know how Marvel and DC do those animated films? (like Batman: Year One) Well, here's an idea: maybe these games like Zelda that don't have the deepest narrative could be animated like those.

Are you implying that animated films can't be deep? =/

I believe he's implying Zelda movies shouldn't have a deep narrative.

@Link245 You're saying that the Zelda series doesn't have deep enough stories for a movie earlier yet you suggested a Halo movie. The stories in Zelda aren't that deep but I don't see how the Halo series has deeper stories. Also, I agree on the Punch-out movie idea, the Wii version shows that, that could work. I also think a Phoenix Wright movie would be pretty good.

Go read any of the halo novels or play odst and reach which are more personal stories.

There is one coming out, it looks like the most ridiculous thing every created...and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. XD
As for this argument that Zelda can't be a movie because it doesn't have a deep story--a story doesn't have to be deep to be good. Look at classic books for example, very few of them are complex at all, usually staying focused on one theme and a small cast of characters and how they change throughout the narrative. A Zelda movie could be a very emotional and moving story, even with very little "real" plot.
