We are heading at the end of the month. Which means Nintendo Life is soon to do a Game of the Month article. What do you think will win?I'm planning on these:Xenoblade ChroniclesColors 3DIf any other games deserve the GotM please post.
For America, definitely Xenoblade Chronicles. For the PAL regions though, I'd go with Pandora's Tower. Or if you want a game that came out in both regions, maybe SpeedThru: Potzol's Puzzle (or whatever it's called in America)... Not the greatest game ever but definitely good fun for the price, and I don't recall any other good games through April. Or maybe Colors! 3D if that counts, but it's not really a game.
It's May and only 2 games are worth the Game of the Month award: Mario Tennis Open: The series has been reborn with this new title, for the first time you are able to play Mario Tennis over Nintendo Network. Customise your Mii to be the ultimate Tennis champion. VVVVVV: The highly difficult indie game that takes inspiration to retro games. Captain Viridian must round up all his team mates in a world so strange. This is indeed the most difficult 3DSware game ever.
VVVVVV is pretty awesome it should win since the new Mario tennis is just a stripped down version of other tennis titles and it really seemed like a half-baked game. Other sites have been giving it pretty low review scores too. I think Pandora's tower has a shot to compete too.
The cat's the only cat who knows where it's at.

I guess Mario Tennis Open. Back To the Future is pretty decent mind.

VVVVVV definitely. The reviewer seemed very disappointed in Mario Tennis Open, while VVVVVV's only concern from the staff was it's price (which is complete bullcrap, btw). Oh yeah, and one of the modes didn't work, but I think they patched that, and the Euro version should be fine.

The most difficult 3DSware game? Nah, that would easily go to Mutant Mudds
It's not really fair to choose Xenoblade or VVVVVV since they've both been out for months in America or Europe. But out of all of these I choose Xenoblade because it is the best game for the month IMO and although VVVVVV is great, it's still just an Indie game that was available elsewhere before the 3DS.

Dude, I've beaten the main game in VVVVVV. the toughest part was trying to get that one trinket that scrolled into like 8 different sections with walls of spikes. I'm sure everybody died at least 100 times trying to score that trinket, otherwise the main game 'while challenging' i found wasn't as tough as people are making it out to be, but a large chunk of that reason is because of the large amount of check points and infinite lives.
That doesn't make it less challenging, that just makes it less frustrating. Which I can't see being anything but a plus.
Given how similar these games are I'm going to have to go with Mario Tennis. While VVVVVV is a very good game indeed I found the character selection to be quite small, and the ball physics when it came to lobs and smashes was all of the place.

Exactly. Making a game challenging but not overly frustrating is important - and VVVVVV does it very well. VVVVVV > Mutant Mudds :3
It seems we have a late entry. Art of Balance: TOUCH. a game which Nintendo Life gave an 8/10 Does Art of Balance have the "it factor" or will it get swepped away from Nintendo's new tennis game, or Terry Cavanagh's difficult platformer?
