TBH. I only watched Mantracker and The Office on that channel. They don't even involve gaming.
If you want to see an actual gaming channel Twitch, and Spike are the closest you will get by 2013.
I miss Code Monkeys and laughing at their terrible reviews. I only watched it in 2008-2009, though.
I agree, I might just watch it on netfilx
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

I remember browsing through the guide on TV and I saw something about Mario Vs. Donkey Kong so I clicked it. Back when X Play was cool and still reviewed lots of cool games.
Lots of censorship here...

But will still focus on male audience and video game content
US cable channel G4 is to get a rebrand, according to a report by Variety, taking on a more "sophisticated" approach to programming and presentation.
The pop-culture channel specialises in video games and tech content but after the appointment of former NBC marketing chief Adam Stotsky this year, a series of internal promotions have reorganised the team in a bid to capture a more mature male market.
According to the report, the rebrand will debut early next year but the channel will still focus on video game and technology, helping to distinguish itself from rivals such as Spike and Velocity.
Looks like the channel will still have some videogame stuff but probably not a lot as it tries to grab the audience of males who reads GQ/Details/Complex/Paper magazine.

But anyway, I'm actually happy. They wouldn't stop making inaccurate reviews on X-play, and their coverage of E3 was horrendous. No wonder DirectTV dropped them.

to be fair, X-play, even before it was reduced to generic general gaming show, was never watched by people for its accuracy.
It's funny that they haven't done it sooner. It had some nice tech, video games, and anime show that made up most of their lineup. Now it seems to my like its only 5% tech, I just went through the guide listing and its mostly movies, campus pd, cops, cheaters, and ninja warrior.
Too bad we don't have Canada's G4 Tech, they have more of a lineup dealing with video games and computers then America.

G4 will be re-branded as the Esquire Channel in early 2013. Apparently some "new programming is already in development and will focus on the genres that other male-centric channels, such as Spike, have failed to provide for men. They include: cooking, travel, fashion and, in keeping with tradition, some gaming as well."
