The player rooster, fonts and a few things were just changed. I don't buy EA's sports games anymore, because it feels like something is missing.

EA can only redeem themselves in my mind by releasing the Megadrive Desert/Jungle/Urban strikes for WiiU VC

Fifa 12 was released on the PS2, believe it or not, and was a shocking quality game, not like FIFA12 on any other console.

Here's the thing, it's not economically viable to dedicate a big team to a game for a console that is essentially redundant.

I would say that this is a bad idea, but since so few people will actually buy this, especially when compared to the 360 and PS3, it's kind of hard for me to say "Bad Company!" They won't lose too many fans over this. People that would have left them for this already stopped loving them long ago.

Thanks for the heads-up. I have a friend who's little brother gets the new one for Christmas every year, so I told him to tell his brother that it's the same.

I understand that, but trying to flog off an old version of a game with negligible aesthetic changes as a brand new one isn't on in my book. I'd rather they simply didn't release a FIFA 13 if they're going to do that.

They're out to make money, but it's at the cost of goodwill. It doesn't seem to have caused EA too many problems thus far, but I think that's mainly because the majority of their userbase isn't aware of these sorts of things.

In any case, if I had bought FIFA 12 and went out and bought FIFA 13, I'd be pissed.

People would have thrown a tantrum if there was no Wii game.

If people actually bought these games on Wii EA would invest more resources in them.

@Waltz on the last page of the article that edhe posted (and I quoted), although they don't show the figures they do state that there is still a considerable market for FIFA on the Wii.
