Topic: Favourite gaming magazine ...Then and now...

Which gaming magazine was your favourite back in the day? ...And which is your favourite right now?

For me it was Mean Machines back in the day (does anyone remember the bumper issues: "The Complete Guide to Consoles"? - they were a bit special!) ...And, as for today, I'd have to say Retro Gamer (because I'm old!).

now: nintendo power and gameinformer

The only magazine I ever bought and trusted was GCN, formerly known as N64.

THEN: I guess i would have to go w/ Sega Visions.

Corocoro and Nintendo Power and Xbox and Famitsu and IGN Magazines.

Super Play!

Then: Nintendo Power. Now: Nintendo Power.

Then: N64 Magazine

Now: N64 Magazine. Oh, you mean still in print? I'd have to go with Edge or the new GamePro.

Way back when? Nintendo Power.
Now? Official Xbox Magazine.

Oh how the times have changed...

Then: Pocket Games (I was a big handheld gamer at the time), and EGM.

Now: Uh, OXM?

Ngamer as they are now.
They are still great

This. I will never subscribe to another gaming magazine.

But I have one complaint (and please don't ban) STOP SENDING ME RENEWAL PAPERS EVERY MONTH NINTENDO POWER! I'll renew it when it is about to expire! That all started when Future US started publishing Nintendo Power and it hasn't stopped.......

I am a subscriber to Nintendo Power (check out my letter in v.245!), and I buy only some of the NGamers due to high import prices.

My favourite of all time is N64 Magazine, especially during the Jonathan Davies era.

My favourite just now is NGamer, but it has to be said that its been in relative decline since Greener left in 2008. Still, it's the best thing out there, even if they do have a running gag where they spell my name wrong.

I used to like Codebook. I think that's what it was called. It used to have cheats for the Genesis, SNES, PSOne, stuff like that. But then one day, it was gone!

And now, I don't like gaming magazines.

Then: Nintendo Official Magazine (the old one)
Now: NGamer, I guess, but I rarely buy any. Does NintendoLife count as a gaming magazine? This is my fave.

Theres really not many gaming magazines around here, so its still Swedish PC Gamer for me
