One of the predictions I made for 2 years (which ends on the last day of August in 2025) is that Rocket, Groot and Thanos will appear during the run of "Spidey and his Amazing Friends", and that the finale will involve Thanos trying to take over the world, and the heroes and villains have to team up to stop him and save the day.

Anyone else think Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is shockingly ugly? I didn't know anything about this except the fact that the first game was popular, but I just saw a preview. The character faces in particular are just hideous. I mean they look fine while wearing masks but the actual human faces just look like bad art. Not a fan of some of the textures either.

Since it's coming out the same day as Mario I am curious how well it will do, but it really makes me appreciate how attractive some Nintendo games are, especially when they manage gorgeous even with comparatively worse graphical power.

Anyone else watch “Spidey and his Amazing Friends” besides me?

I just began collecting Amazing Spider-Man comic omnibus editions, from the very beginning, the 1960s Stan Lee & Ditko. I thought I would just get the Stan Lee written stuff, which ended in omnibus vol. 4 (which also includes Death of Gwen Stacy, so that's a definite plus!).

Vol. 5 is regarded a drop off in quality, so I thought okay, I'll stop there...........but then I saw Vol. 5 starts Pete & MJ's romance, and now I think for the next couple of decades I might just be stuck collecting all of these damn things!
