Topic: Digimon Story: Time Stranger on Switch 1 and 2

Name of the thread is pretty straightforward. This thread will be for any discussions about the Switch 1 and Switch 2 versions of Digimon Story: Time Stranger, which both launch on July 10th, 2026.

As for me, this might be an eventual pickup, depending on the physical cartridge situation for this game (if it even has one).

Honestly I was getting a bit impatient with this one and was tempted to get it off Steam a couple of times.

Glad I waited - Switch 2 is the perfect platform for these games.

Yeah I'm going to grab it on Switch 2, but still not sure if I should buy it straight up or wait for discounts. I would have bought it immediately if it was on Switch 2 when it released back on October, but now it has been a while and money is a bit more in question right now haha.

Just in case this affects anyone's purchase decision for the game, the Switch 2 Edition "physical" is a Game Key Card.

If I do end up getting this game at some point, it will probably be on Switch 1.
