Topic: Defending the indefensible!

A few years ago on our national radio network, there was a segment called "Defending the Indefencable" where one guy would have to defend something like terrorists, Adolf Hitler, commercial radio, Charlie Manson etc. It was a really amusing segment, I'd like to see something like that here, hence the thread. Someone comes up with something that normally couldn't be defended, then another comes and defends it by any means possible. Let me begin! Jar Jar Binks
