Topic: Coffee drinkers recommendations

I wake and and go to sleep drinking coffee. What are your favorites to brew? Do you prefer to grind your own? What is your preferred method to brew? I’ve been drinking Black Rifle Coffee Company for a while now and love it. They have several roasts to get.

I use these guys for my beans. Grind a selection, but my favourite recently is Columbian.

I'm a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur. It's the first thing I taste in the morning and the last thing I taste before bed. I've been drinking too much for near 35 years.I don't really have a favourite, I love all kinds of coffee but recently I've been enjoying grounded Ethiopian with a fruity and floral taste from a cafatiere.

Does anyone make theirs as a pour over? I have a pour over kit but honestly can't tell a difference.

My everyday variety is Green Mountain Dark Magic. Then for special occasions, weekends, and whenever I like Trader Joe's Espresso Blend done in a moka pot.

Never been a coffee drinker, only time I drank coffee is when I don't have any other source of caffeine. Other then that I prefer tea over coffee which is what I drink in the morning.

I love tea and coffee, but not together. I tried that once, it was vile.

As for recommendations, I rather like using Colombian beans. It's Pumpkin Spice Latte season now, so I need to enjoy that while it lasts.

Italian coffee all the way for me. Illy is my favourite, but I'll happily take Lavazza in a pinch (and it's a fair bit cheaper). Zoega, a Swedish brand, would be third on the list. Swedes take coffee very seriously... Actually, all of Scandinavia does, pretty much.

As for method, filter is best but it's never hot enough, so French press/cafetiere is my usual jam. And just show it the milk - I'd far rather have it black than too milky.

I'm not a fan of drinking coffee, but I like this Deathklok song about coffee.

Starbucks Cafe Verona all the way. It has truly ruined all other coffees for me. I can't drink anything else because nothing else tastes good once you've tried Starbucks Cafe Verona.

I do sometimes branch out with some of their other darker roasts, like Sumatra blend, French Roast or even Italian.

I like Colombian blends, since it has a wonderful flavor but it isn’t as strong as others. I usually buy it already grinded at Juan Valdez, and from time to time I try out new blends from other companies -Starbucks, Marley coffee, etc.

As for the coffee maker, it’s your classic drip model. The only nice thing it has is a clock to program it to brew in the morning while I’m in the shower.
