Topic: Club Nintendo Rewards. ^_^

I just got my platinum reward in the mail yesterday. It's the figurine that has the whole Super Mario gang on it, coolest reward I've seen yet. It came in a yellow box with question marks on it, and included a thank you note for helping Nintendo 'put smiles on gamers faces' by taking part in the surveys. If you didn't know already, by registering your products at https://club.nintendo.com/ and filling out surveys, you get coins that can be redeemed for goodies. You can also get a special yearly reward without using any of your coins. Anyhoo, the point of this post is, as small a thing as it is, it means a lot, and adds a personal touch. These things cost money to produce, and the cost of shipping to the members... It's just really refreshing when I can't turn my other systems on without being bombarded with advertisements. I think Microsoft would charge me for turning my 360 on if they could. Now that I think about it, shouldn't being subjected to all those commercials entitle me to free live? I mean, that's how commercial radio and television works, right? All I'm saying is it's nice to be appreciated once in a while. And I, er, appreciate being appreciated.

So they changed the date by one day, it was until the 1st.

They made it Sept 2 originally because of Labor Day. You're right that new downloads typically go up on a Monday, though.

I think the fact that he's Canadian, Labor Day didnt cross his mind.

I forgot about Labour day to be honest, it happens here in Canada to, on another note the games will come out tomorrow!

Sorry I don't do research before replying to a comment. Like I am suppose to know that Canada celebrates Labor day. How I am I suppose to know that and even that its on the same day as ours?

The new games are out and not a single one interests me, I got Mario vs DK when they first started putting download games on CN, but I don't like it.

Pretty sweet selections from Club Nintendo if you ask me.

Zoda's Revenge is a game I've always wanted to try after loving the first Star Tropics... so 150 coins is a small price to pay.
Art Academy won't appeal to everyone since it's not actually a game, but is a quality piece of software that actually teaches you something instead of just being a waste of time.
Mario vs DK: Minis March Again is a great DSiWare game with great content creation/sharing tools. Anyone with some creativity or penchant for clever level design should check it out.
Pilotwings... well, this one isn't really a game that appeals to me. But it's a classic for a reason, and lots of people love this game even if it is primitive compared to the more recent 3DS release.

Except for Zoda's Revenge it's all repeats, and they raised the price of Pilotwings from 100 to 150 coins this time. 6th consecutive month of nothing that interests me that I don't already have.

I have to say that I was sad to have my 675 coins earned today. The only thing that I'm interested in is the Mario Poster Set, but that never seems to be in stock when I'm online. I really think they should put more Luigi items on here because it (at least WAS) supposed to be the Year of Luigi.

Have you guys played Mario & Lugi's Dream Team yet? They make Luigi look like a total jerk, but that's besides the CN NOA rewards thread.

I could say the same thing about Mario in many of his games.
