I just got my platinum reward in the mail yesterday. It's the figurine that has the whole Super Mario gang on it, coolest reward I've seen yet. It came in a yellow box with question marks on it, and included a thank you note for helping Nintendo 'put smiles on gamers faces' by taking part in the surveys. If you didn't know already, by registering your products at https://club.nintendo.com/ and filling out surveys, you get coins that can be redeemed for goodies. You can also get a special yearly reward without using any of your coins. Anyhoo, the point of this post is, as small a thing as it is, it means a lot, and adds a personal touch. These things cost money to produce, and the cost of shipping to the members... It's just really refreshing when I can't turn my other systems on without being bombarded with advertisements. I think Microsoft would charge me for turning my 360 on if they could. Now that I think about it, shouldn't being subjected to all those commercials entitle me to free live? I mean, that's how commercial radio and television works, right? All I'm saying is it's nice to be appreciated once in a while. And I, er, appreciate being appreciated.

i wouldn't say they don't put anything good on the Wii rewards, We had Super Smash Bros and Kirby Super Star Ultra on it.

Don't prejudge based on the fact that it's DSiWare. If X-Scape or Art Style comes up and you judge based off that I will personally stalk you and pimp slap you for saying that.

But yeah, not worth it.

@sak904 the hanafuda cards are plastic, but not the same plastic. the hanafuda cards are much thicker and harder. they do not bend like these playing cards do.

Yet still waiting for my posters... But on the bright side the presents I ordered off Amazon for family both came today, so at least there's that. Hopefully tomorrow, or within this week...

Got my playing cards today. Pretty neat, i guess. But very flimsy (as in "thin"; the plastic itself is quite sturdy so it's not like they'll tear). I can't imagine playing with them, so they'll just go on the Platinum rewards shelf along with the Mario Statute/? Box and the Pin Set.
