Wasn't he in GnR for a few weeks or months or something during Axl Rose's 20 year waffle phase? I seem to recall some time in the 90s (maybe 2000s), this dude with a bucket on his head was the new guitarist, and I thought that was weird. Then the next time I heard anything about GnR, the bucket dude was gone, and I kind of just forgot about it.
So is Chinese Democracy out yet? Did that thing ever happen?

He was in GnR for a while, he did play when Chinese Democracy was being recorded, and Chinese Democracy is out, with Buckethead playing on many tacks.

Buckethead is an amazing guitar player, but I never really got into his music. There are one or two songs I've come across that I was like "wow, this is good" and that's about it. I like his more ambient, laid back stuff. I like that third song you posted. He did some pretty cool stuff with Les Claypool and he's always fun to watch play live now and then on youtube. I never bought or would buy any of his stuff though I don't think.

I almost only exclusively listen to his ambient music. 5 albums you should check out are Colma, Electric Tears, Electric Sea, Pike 13, and Monument Valley. All very laid back and ambient. I will post links if requested.

Ozzfest was well-intentioned, but it's dead to me ever since the Iron Maiden incident. Sharon Osborn can go crawl in a cave, to put it politely.
I gave up on Ozzfest when I realized I hated Ozzy's voice ever since the album Paranoid by Black Sabbath came out. Oh, and when I stopped liking heavy metal.
